Spent this past week in Austin, Texas, attending the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Information Resources (GIR) Conference where I stepped into the leadership role and a new journey as Chair of the Technology and Data Affinity Group.

The AAMC is a national organization representing more than 170 accredited medical schools, academic health systems, and teaching hospitals across the United States and Canada.

I am honored to have been elected as chair and to lead and contribute to this influential community. Grateful for the opportunity to make an impact in advancing technology, data, and innovation in academic medicine and healthcare.
