The concept caught my attention, but the recipes weren’t really for me.

BOOK REVIEW 📚 Dark Tides by Philippa Gregory — ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A story of ambition, betrayal, love, and survival. Livia was messy, manipulative, and absolutely unforgettable!
This book had me hooked, and honestly, it’s still my favourite in the Fairmile series.
A solid 5 stars!

BEFORE I LET GO BY KENNEDY RYAN

Grief is honestly something one can’t fully get a grasp of or heal from completely.
Having experienced my fair share of it,trust me I know.
Also memories are actually what makes it painful when we lose a loved one which is why some people can’t feel the pain as much as you do because they don’t have memories they shared with the person.
I think it’s also one of the reasons Josiah couldn’t grief like Yasmeen did. She felt it more cause the child was growing inside her.

I love that this book captured all angles of it and I love that it’s relatable.
I love the family dynamics,friendships and the journey to healing (which isn’t easy by the way).

Just finished Tidelands by Philippa Gregory and… I have THOUGHTS. 😤😤📚
It was definitely a slow burn, but I became invested in Alinor’s story and the way the book explored women, motherhood, poverty, class, religion and survival.

The romance? Hmm… mixed feelings.
As for James? We need to talk.

Not my usual genre of books but I definitely enjoyed it enough to want to continue the Fairmile series.

⭐️ 4/5

I just want to say Livia dey learn work where devil dey 😩😩
This character is currently stressing my brain cause how can one person be so manipulative 😤😤

She’s steady skimming and making a fool of all the people around her 😭
I wish I can grab Alys and slap sense into her 😩😩😩
