Absolutely surreal to see a Bloody Disgusting article written up for my movie. 13 years old me wouldn’t believe this is real. 26 years old me still barely can. by @cthwompson

Wanted to share the initial concept art I did of all of the Puppet Pals while @aidanleary11 and I were writing @monkeysmagicmerrygoround back in 2023! Obviously things were changed (and improved!) along the way as @jackiesmook got involved and built the actual puppets, but this is where they all started.

Two months after release, we are still #1 on @screamboxtv ! Thank you to @cineverse.ent and @bdisgusting for hosting our film in the U.S., and to all of our fans and audience members who watched the film, told your friends, followed us, shared our posts, posted reviews and cosplays and content. This is a microbudget film that owes everything to you guys because you have given this movie life!

The more word spreads and our audience grows, the more likely the film will become available in more territories, and who knows… maybe we’ll get to make that sequel 👀 🙉 by @cthwompson

@monkeysmagicmerrygoround is streaming on @screamboxtv and live on VOD platforms!

@fantoccesario - Thanks for everything I learned puppeteering with you. You make a puppet feel alive in a way that’s magical to watch. Cannot wait to get into more Monkey Business someday.

@mrgilio - Your performance is everything I could have hoped for. I can’t wait for people to see the nonsense we made you do, and thank you for always doing it with enthusiasm and patience.

@smookerstition - Thanks for bringing out puppets to life! I love them all dearly and have learned so much watching you work both as a fabricator and puppeteer.

@jgcbrown97 - Thanks for dealing with all of the cramped spaces and difficulties of handling TWO PUPPETS AT ONCE. The “WAH” Bird makes when leaving frame is one of my favorite sounds in the movie.

Rob Chesler - Thanks for bringing fun AND intensity to Rory. Your range is immense and exactly what the role needed.

@erick_hf1 - Thanks for wearing a hot mascot costume with no visibility. Ferret steals every shot he’s in and that’s thanks to you.

Kool - Thanks for jumping in as an extra pair of hands whenever we needed it! And for snacks, of course.
