We took a little field trip to Cut The Music Prints this week to check out the shirts that Peter is cooking up for our 10th Anniversary B-Day Bash 🥳

Peter Day is an amazing artist and prolific screenprinter based right here in Greensboro. If you’ve spent anytime in Greensboro, you’ve definitely seen his work; CTMP prints posters, shirts and more for all kinds of local events and organizations.

Peter isn’t just printing our new shirts, though 👀 He’s going to be at our B-Day Bash on Saturday helping people print their own RG shirts with a variety of different custom designs to choose from!

So, if you want to learn about screenprinting and print your own 1-of-1 RG tee, come out on Saturday from 4-7 PM!

@Feyleux is on tour for the month of October, so I designed and printed a Dark Shadows themed tour poster featuring the late great Johnathan Frid as Barnabas Collins and the ever so lovely @kathrynleighscott as Josette du Pres/Maggie Evans. It’s a print I’ve long wanted to make to pay tribute to one of the greatest television series to ever exist. I’m very proud how it turned out. These are a one time only limited edition run stamped and numbered, so be sure to get one while they last… used @speedball_art inks for this project.

I had someone that donated to this campaign thank me for doing this… my response was that “This is what I’m SUPPOSED to do. I’m in a position to help with what I do as a screen printer, so I’m helping.” And it’s as easy as that. I don’t need thanks, I don’t need acclaim… I just need you all to purchase this shirt and help make sure one of the most important pieces of our art & music scene in Greensboro stays in operation. Money is hard to come by and hold on to these days, so it’s you all that have donated that are doing the heavy lifting. What I’m doing is the easy part.

Shouts to @moodbdesigns for stopping by the shop to get help with getting a screen made. Also hooked them up with a pallet, some tape and some extra cotton tees I had laying around… and a bunch of pointer and advice on the nuances to printing.
