Bit of a mad one - event managed the FIBA World Cup Qualifier between GB & Lithuania, + just about pulled it off in under 10 days😱One of the more stressful things I’ve ever worked on and despite the result (💔) and the circumstances, was an honour to step in and serve; a small dedicated group worked their asses off and got the job done - s/o the team. 🇬🇧🏀📸 FIBA by @ctn.agency

All week we were checking the weather forecast and it wasn’t looking good - teams messaging me asking if we were seriously going ahead - @footlockeruk kept the faith; “it’s gonna come good, it’ll clear in the early pm”…somehow, miraculously - after many more messages asking if it was cancelled during torrential downpour in the morning - the sun broke through and it was like a hot summer’s day, you would never have known the earlier conditions…we were actually running Foot Locker Home Court at @claphamcommoncourt and despite the weather, the teams were there and the crowd came out…got through the whole tournament until the final game of the day - 3 minutes left (after a crowd dance contest that went on way too long courtesy of @tahirhajat & @hoopsbyhuncho)…boom, the heavens opened and we were caught in one of the craziest rain storms I’ve ever been in - people were running for cover like we were under attack. Wasn’t the ending we wanted but got the job done, and added a great story to the memory banks lol 🤣📸 @caroljmoirsports by @ctn.agency

It was an honour to run all basketball ops for the @jumpman23’s “The One” Euro Finals at Exhibition in White City in July - bringing in a ton French fans to show the U.K. crowd how to do it is certainly one way to raise the temperature; one of the hypest crowds we’ve ever had, and it ultimately ended up as the event of the summer. 🔥🇬🇧🏀📸 @ninovisio / @caroljmoirsports by @ctn.agency
