This journey tried to break me many times but each time I persevered. Nursing school was far from easy. It came with so much stress, anxiety, and times when I doubted whether I had what it takes which makes this moment even more rewarding. I’m so excited to start this next chapter💐

This is deeper than the degree.

I never imagined I would lose such a valuable part of myself during this chapter of my life. The day I lost my mom my world stopped. Losing her has changed me in ways I’m still learning to understand but it has played a part in shaping the woman I am becoming.

I wish more than anything she could be here to see me walk but I’m so grateful that I had her as my mom and grateful for everything she poured into me. She taught me strength. She taught me how to keep going even when life feels impossible. And now, that’s exactly what I’m doing.

I graduate in 16 days. Yes, it’s a milestone but it’s so much more than that. It’s proof of perseverance. It’s strength in the face of heartbreak. It’s every tear, every late night, every moment I wanted to give up but didn’t. I carry her with me in everything I do. Every step forward and every goal I chase I know she’s with me.
