🤟 Floral Feedback 🌺 For my spring nail polish collect #cyoccflorals! For this round of #cyoccollab we were asked to look through our polishes and curate a skittle based on our favorite flowers. My collection is inspired by grunge/rock music and flowers. I love watching the flowers bloom this time of the year, wanted to share some lesser noticed flowers/plants. In my collection we have: T - Hydrangea Danger I - Plumeria Riot M - Larkspur Lullaby R - Petal Pop Punk P - Verdant Decay Which flower would you pick? Thanks to @polished.mess and @thepolishedmillennial for hosting! The last three pictures are a beautiful collage of designs and a list of participants. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Polishes used (real names) ✨ @doomloopnails Faust's Price ✨ @parrot_polish Persian Cat ✨ @crackedpolish Seek to Disrupt, Without a Cause ✨ @mooncat Drown my Demons #Nails #skittlenails #floralnails by @ctrlaltmani
Do you see Funfetti or a Clown print? I originally did this nail art as another sweet treat I enjoy around this time of year: Funfetti! When I looked at afterwards it looks like a mix of funfetti and a clown print. End result: sparkly nails in the day and glow at night but colorful now matter what! 🌈 🌟 Polishes Used: ✨ Zombie Claw Polish - Lemonade Lush ✨ Cirque Colors - XOXO jelly + Like jelly + Lagoon jelly + Lilac jelly ✨ Mooncat - The Avatar State by @ctrlaltmani
Fall leaves are for everyone! 🍂 I was out in the forest taking pictures of the trees and leaves falling but caught these little ghosts having fun. 👻 (Swipe to the end to see how they glow in the dark.) What name or names would you give them? Polishes used: Mango Lacquer - Koyo Mooncat - The Avatar State Revlon - Early Bird + Under My Spell #glowinthedarknails #flakiespolish #nailartinspo Halloween nails memento mori by @ctrlaltmani
Fresh from the oven 🥧🍪 This nail art is inspired by the Pillsbury sugar cookies (ghost, pumpkin, and spooky cat) that were present at every Halloween party I went to as a kid. So I got my Tombow markers and drew them out along with some fun designs! These are unlike the regular cookies in that they have a lovely radioactive glow in the dark. 🌟 What Halloween treat/s unlocks memories for you? Always finding a moment of zen 💅 Traveling withe my lovely little tray set is from Sage Polish Co. and it's very handy. Where do I even begin? First it was my helpful polish transporter in helping me do my nails in a bunch of different places. Even at home I can just carry the tray from the dining table to the couch and do my nails comfortably. I'm not anchored to one place. The pieces are all magnetic so the smaller pieces/trays stick on to the larger modular pieces in the tray. I even did some walking outside with these all set up with polish and everything held things in place. It was also an organizational marvel for me! I was able to have all of my polishes out for a mani in a nice square set area, and to put some acetone and brush close. And last but not least it has two types of finger rests to help keep a steady hand while you paint! Also fun fact, you can travel with it on a plane! I had travel recently and took this with me to do my nails. Heads up though, the tray is not magnetic it's so do not try to flip it upside down. (I tried it upside down over my couch before adding anything into it and I had to reset my configuration. 🙃) If you have any questions about it let me know below! 👇 #nails #nailinspo #nailseverywhere by @ctrlaltmani
Oozing with confidence...and a bit of purple. 'Tis the season for glow in the dark manis! It has been getting darker out earlier each day and I have been itching to lose sleep and stare at my nails all night. I may have also been slightly influenced by seeing Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown as well. This nail art is a mix of sparkly black cauldron and mysterious overflowing ooze.  ⚗️🧪⋆.ೃ࿔* Polishes Used: Tyler's trinkets - Flake it til you make it  Sparitual - Imagination  Familiar polish - Argon #nailinspo #halloweennails #witchynails by @ctrlaltmani
🍂🍁🍂 I tried out Mango Lacquer's Ochiba Anthology collection. The colors of the polishes encapsulate fall and the full autumnal feeling. Tsukimi: A black polish base with reflective glitter and a magnetic pigment that shifts between shades of bronze and gold. The contrast of the black with the magnetic particles and glitter really makes them stand out. Momiji: A deep burgundy polish base with a fine particle magnetic that shifts between shades of brown and subtle gold undertones. This one is a jelly magnetic type of polish Koyo: A clear polish with orange shifting flakes, orange and red metallic flakes, and bright yellow glitter. It's like putting falling leaves on your nails. Ishidoro: A stone gray polish with a silver shimmer with a sage green. This has a great grey/green shift depending on lighting. It's very dark academia fall vibes. (ノ^_^)ノ🍂 🍂 \(^ω^\ ) ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧ by @ctrlaltmani
Are you ready for Halloween? 👻 If you need some Halloween nail inspo look no further, these designs are ready for day and night. There are candy designs for something sweet, spooky monsters that are terrifyingly cute, eyes that can watch you wherever you go, colorful ghosts to share your day with you, and a Halloween color scheme (or wait did that one just blink?!?). 🎃 #nailinspo #halloweennails #cutenails by @ctrlaltmani
Nail art inspired by Planet Cat from an Astrocat blind box. 🪐 This is my second cat from them and it's so precious. 😭 It has rings, a moon and cute stars on it! Truly a planetary kitty. 😺 I had hoped for Galaxy Cat or Jetpack Calico Cat and maybe some day I will have them join their siblings, but the ones I got are so cute. ✨ I really like the space and cat mix details that are on each cat, and how well the sketches match the figurines.🌕 Polishes used Olive and June - Fawn Pacifica - Madison + Kourtney Nailsinc - Happy Yellow Essie - Sunshine be mine + In my sandbox #spacenails #starnails #catnails by @ctrlaltmani
I asked in my stories which blind box I should open and most people said left. So I opened it and I got ... The Frosted Cyber Cat! ✨ It's the inspiration for the nail art and of course, like the astrocat that glows in the dark, these nails do too! 😎 I love how this is such a sci-fi kitty, and the glow is the perfect touch for it. It reminds me of Geordi La Forge from Star Trek. I'm excited that this will be one of my desk buddies while I paint my nails. 🖤🤍 Fingers crossed that there is a Galaxy Cat or Jetpack Calico Cat in the right box astrocat box. 🤞 Polishes used Familiar Polish - Ghostly Glow Revlon - Under My Spell + Early Bird #starnails #glowinthedarknails #spacenails by @ctrlaltmani
Stripes (magnetic nail art version) 🌟 🧲 This classic pattern is from the @shimmerhollowshop CharmCaster Stripes disc. It's especially handy for adding a geometric design to magnetic polishes. It's the cat eye effect on repeat! 💅 If you are looking to expand your magnetic nail designs beyond the classic magnetic looks (velvet, reverse velvet, cat eye, and glass bead) this is another fun design to try out. This is the last disc I have to share for now but I will have some fun magnetic surprises to share over the next few months. 😊 This is a tutorial for how to get a stripe pattern with regular non gel magnetic polish ( @crackedpolish Without a Cause) on natural nails using the magnetic disc. P.S. If you like your polish matching your tools this shade is the perfect match for the Hibiscus colored CharmCaster. 🌺 #stripesnails #magneticnails #nails by @ctrlaltmani
