Slowing Down to See Everything

I’ve been running business for the past 2+years, constantly working… to a point where I forgot what peace even feels like. Forgot how to slow down. Forgot what it’s like to just sit still and look at the moon.

Alhamdulillah, I finally took a break and went on a family trip after a long time. For the first time in years, I didn’t work for 12 days. Left everything with my co-founder and team - and just lived. Learned what it really means to be present with your family.

My journey to Mecca and Medina changed my perspective completely. Meeting people from all over the world made me realise how small yet connected everything is.

Standing in front of the Kaaba, built by Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail, gave me goosebumps I can’t explain.

The hospitality in Saudi Arabia - feeding millions daily, for free was something else. And the sunrise at Masjid an-Nabawi… easily the most peaceful moment I’ve ever felt.

This trip reminded me how blessed I am — health, food, a place to sleep. Things we overlook while chasing more.

What I’m taking back with me:
1. Kindness can take you further than anything
2. Discipline > anxiety
3. Intoxication is modern-day slavery
4. Make time to look at the sky, it resets you

This carousel holds moments I’ll carry for life. 🤍 taken in Mecca, Saudi Arabia by @ctrlzedd

maybe watching a movie, listening to your new song, anything which is materialistic won’t give you joy because you understand capitalism and when you wanna relax you wanna touch some grass 🌅 by @ctrlzedd

Voting is important and everyone must vote. We all contribute to make the society better.

In a world where everyone is building AI and India dominates the biggest Service-led Market in the world, why are the systems 25 years old?

This is not complaining but questioning

There are solutions, I can research and break down what could be the build as an efficient system for a developed society. by @ctrlzedd
