Over the weekend, Coach @cuba412 received a Community Leadership award at the @foco_flava jam. For the past 5 years he has been an integral part of our studio, carrying on our legacy of educational excellence with our youth programs. Beyond the studio he has lead countless after school programs, camps all over the state and has been the head of the Breakin program for @mad_fresh_productions_ in Pueblo Colorado. He has impacted hundreds if not thousands of young lives and we could not be more proud to have him play such a large role at our studio.

We are wary of “community leadership” awards, as leadership should never be a competition. That being said, this one is beyond well deserved!

You can get your kids training with Coach Cuba today.
Little Kids Breakin is every Wednesday at 5pm and Tomorrow Youth intro to Breakin every Thursday at 5pm, in the place to be, the @bboyfactory.

𝘾𝙐𝘽𝘼 / 36 years in the culture. 28 years teaching breaking. Thousands of students, from elementary kids to adults, in schools, camps, studios, and community spaces.

Joseph "Kid Cuba" Llaneza is a veteran B-Boy, educator, choreographer, and mentor. Born in NYC, raised in Miami, and now building the next generation right here in Colorado. He works with @bboyfactory, runs the Breaking Boundaries program with @mad_fresh_productions_ and partners directly with schools to bring breaking to students through PE replacement classes, enrichment, and before- and after-school programs.

From classrooms and gymnasiums to cyphers and stages, Coach Cuba uses Hip-Hop to build confidence, discipline, creativity, and community while carrying the culture forward.

Yet another re-cap video for our 4th Annual Hip-Hop Festival. The energy and the love in the park vibrated miles out. We created a space for the state of Colorado to celebrate the elements of Hip Hop and each year it continues to grow with incredible numbers of Hip Hop heads joining to become one.
