It’s not every day a TOTAL BLOODY LEGEND is spotted wearing your design 🫣🎉 And made all the more pinch-me because it wasn’t a gifted item (I genuinely only gift about one item twice a year). There was no fancy collab or jazzy PR stunt.. As simple as THE Dawn French bought the Hopscotch Noir dress and better still, “loves it” 💕 2019 Sa, still in her unexciting corporate 9-5 staring at yet another snooozesome 💤💤banking PowerPoint presentation would NOT believe it.. To be forever documented on the grid 🧡 Thank you @dawnrfrench for making my entire year and @thesarahmillican for being the whole reason Dawn found Cub & Pudding in the first place, huzzah!! by @cubandpudding

So long September! The month of our Slow Threads Chapter Three launch and a much-needed hurrah of positive vibes and gorgeous inbox messages about the eleven new pieces 🧡🙌 October is the month all the preorders arrive and I get to see your Chapter Three outfits in the wild 🥳 Big news is I’ve managed to add a very small amount of stock of the Wren and Alba Heather and the Confetti knit just in time to land before the collection closes at the end of this year.. Remember no items are repeated so you really will miss out if you don’t pounce (I’m still getting “dang it!” DMs about missing out on Chapter Two’s Nila dress!) by @cubandpudding

An honest post after a very rocky 2026 (some sales months I haven’t seen the likes of since 2020 😱) It can be tough to keep chipper through the lulls and that pesky self-doubt can lurk loudly but I’ve known that Slow Threads is the best and only direction to take Cub & Pudding in and I’m determined to grow its ethos into consistently PHEW sales months… So September has helped restore the faith that you lovely customers are on board with the slowly made, small batch, limited edition model - but it’s onwards and upwards to keep the cheerleading going far and wide (we ship Internationally so I really do mean FAR 😀🌍) “All” it takes is your love and support to get all eyes on my little brand which I know will bring a giant dose of cheer to your wardrobe and give that sense of individuality that fast fashion cheapness falls short of. Big love to all of your Chapter Three purchases so far 😘 and here’s to more and more for 2026 please 🙏 by @cubandpudding

Our first two co-ord items 🙌 Designed to be worn individually too but also as a cheery, fun, comfy set 🧡 Both have elasticated waists (hullo comfort 👋) and big pockets and both tops are ideal transition tops into autumn and winter big easy peasy to pair with shorts on warmer days 🧡 I designed both fabrics myself so they’re also totally unique - and both made in tiny batches so once they sell out they’re gone for good… Pretty cool to nab a limited edition co-ord and set your wardrobe alight with joyfulness 🌈 by @cubandpudding

Can we take a minute for the Chapter Three fabrics up close and personal?! 🙏 It still is a pinch-me moment that these textiles are entirely unique to my small brand - designed by me from scratch, handwoven and printed for Cub & Pudding especially for this collection alone… The skill that goes into making these one-off cottons is exceptional and I’m just super duper proud to create my designs using such long-lasting, top-quality, one-of-a-kind fabrics. Meet Confetti - our first collaboration with a producer in Nepal we met via @sourcefashionshow in February & the fab @saracollins.uk recommendation too 🧡 They so amazingly translated my vision of what I hoped for this jumper from a very vague sketch to this hand-knitted delight made from velvety soft merino wool 🧶 I’ve sold half my stock already so don’t miss out 🙌 by @cubandpudding

It was a quite a risky, bonkers, scary thing to put an end to the old way of producing for Cub & Pudding - and with that, discontinue my biggest seller and revenue-maker 🫣… But it’s brought about a whole new way of making that feels far more thrilling and proud as a slow fashion indie brand… I’m still working out the best way of ensuring Slow Threads works for me as a business model - which has meant quite a few hard lessons learnt so far in 2026 but I’m the most chuffed I’ve ever been with the new collection - Chapter Three - which really shows off those amazing artisanal skills and gives me so much more freedom to create our very own textiles (mega cool) 🙌🧡 Please do support as many small business clothing brands as you can because it’s really super hard to thrive in such a challenging landscape- yes our pieces aren’t cheap as chips but there’s a reason for that and you’ll be glad over and over again that you made the investment- when that stinky crappier-quality fast fashion alternative is bobbling, fading and way past its sell by date 😉 by @cubandpudding
