First start in the turbine powered ULT Carbon Cub! 😎✈️💪

As a couple hundred hour @cubcrafters pilot, but one with very little turbine time, I was so surprised by how quick and easy the starting procedure was. Honestly, it’s easier than starting any of its piston powered siblings! I’m a big fan to say the least! 😍 taken in Yakima, Washington by @cubcrafters

We had a great time welcoming @caylamcleod of @plane.pilotmagazine to the @CubCrafters factory in Yakima!

Cayla got behind the controls and got to experience the ULT firsthand. And judging by the smiles, we’d say she and Brad Damm had a great time!

Five days. Four nights. Endless backcountry adventure! 🏔️✈️

Last month TacAero led an unforgettable expedition into Idaho’s backcountry, bringing together pilots and companions for a week of flying, adventure, and camaraderie.

Mornings were spent exploring remote airstrips, mountain valleys, and river corridors alongside experienced TacAero instructors. Afternoons were filled with fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and relaxing, while evenings brought everyone together around the campfire.

A special highlight was having legendary Idaho backcountry pilot and author Dick Williams join the group to share his knowledge and stories from decades of flying in the region.

More than just a flying adventure, these expeditions are about building skills, making memories, and experiencing the incredible places our airplanes can take us.

A big thank you to @TacAero and the Idaho Aviation Association for helping make adventures like this possible!

Last weekend at the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach! 🤘✈️

Red Bull athletes Issa Kalfon (@issakalfon) from England, flying the Jet Suit, and Luke Czepiela (@luke.czepiela) from Poland, flying the Carbon Cub UL, coordinated this incredible flyby for the crowd along Huntington Beach.

Such a cool moment to see these two completely different forms of flight come together!

The first media impressions of the Carbon Cub ULT are in. 🔥

AvBrief’s Paul Dye was the first to get behind the controls as media demo flights of the ULT get underway.

A veteran aviation journalist, aerospace engineer, former NASA Lead Flight Director, and pilot with more than 6,000 hours, Paul came to Yakima to put the ULT through its paces. Here are a few things he had to say:

Now it’s time to have some FUN! 🇵🇱✈️

Earlier this summer, following delivery to its new owner, Zbigniew Dziubas (@zbyszek_soros), this Carbon Cub UL made history with the first transatlantic crossing by a Carbon Cub. The journey took this @flyrotax powered aircraft from Idaho, USA all the way to Poland. 🇺🇸➡️🇵🇱

Now home in Poland, @zbyszek_soros is having a blast with his Carbon Cub UL!

Check out this takeoff from Białka Tatrzańska, Poland. We love seeing where these airplanes end up and the adventures that come next!
