First and foremost, we would like to say thank you! Because of you we were able to raise $23,674.93 in four days through our Maui Strength initiative.

We will be donating the money to the @hawaiicommunityfoundation Maui Strong Fund to support the people of Maui during their time of need. This is but a small example of how we can come together as a community and help those in need across the world.

We would have not been able to pull this off without the brain trust and support of our collaborators. Thank you @Dandiggity, @Orlycukui, @jaecukui, Team Cukui, @Krucialprinting & @jiminystitchit for all your efforts in spearheading the design process, the swift production, and tirelessly shipping out over a thousand orders in the last few weeks.

Also, we couldn’t have done it without the support of our friends and family like @sanjosewalls @BGConcepts, @shopbiscuits , @DayOneBarbershopsj, @StateofGracetattoo, @Headliners, @SanJoseFoos, @Hbtat2 and countless more. Every repost and share helped to make this effort successful.

There is more to be done to help rebuild the livelihoods of the people of Maui, so please continue to support in any way you can, directly and indirectly to the families and local businesses who make Hawai’i a special place for many of us in the mainland and beyond.

Introducing Orly Locquiao: a creative force in San Jose and beyond. Renowned for his Polynesian tattooing style and owner of @cukui , Orly’s artistry has left an indelible mark across the globe.

After my Navy service, I had the honor of connecting with Orly at his shop, Humble Beginnings, a true cornerstone of our community. Despite initial skepticism, Orly’s dedication to Filipino tribal tattoos has sparked a revival in our heritage.

In Orly, we find not just a masterful artist, but a proud ambassador of our culture. His story is a testament to his craft and unwavering commitment to celebrating our Filipino heritage.
