What do families receive when they get a Cul2vate Real Food Box?

Meat 🥓:

Families receive an assortment of meat, including beef from Jeff Green at Green Farm Ministries and beef and pork through Meat the Need. This protein donation initiative is distributed by the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation, Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association, and Tennessee Pork Producers. The pork comes from Tosh Farms, while the beef is provided by Garrison Valley Farms.

Shelf-Stable Goods 🍞:

Rice, beans, pasta, and other pantry items are provided through Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

Produce 🍅:

Fruits and vegetables are grown right here at Cul2vate’s farms across Middle Tennessee and added to each Real Food Box.

Eggs 🥚:

Jeff Green at Green Farm Ministries provides fresh, local eggs for recipients.

These boxes would not be possible without our amazing partners. We are deeply grateful to the dedicated organizations that provide wholesome food for Real Food Boxes and help us reach local families. Want to learn more about the Real Food Box program? Visit the link in our bio. by @cul2vatefarms

During this Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we gathered today for a private vigil at YWCA’s Weaver Domestic Violence Center—a quiet moment of reflection and support for the survivors currently calling our emergency shelter home. 💜

Our Sr. Vice President of Domestic Violence Services, Daffany Baker, shared words of hope, and each resident left with a rose and a poem. Beautiful flowers donated by @cul2vatefarms helped create a peaceful space for the afternoon ceremony.

If you or someone you love needs help or support, YWCA Nashville is here 24/7.
