My guru appeared in public after surgery for the first time in several long months. As I watched the live transmission of the darshan on YouTube, I also ended up witnessing a seeker's dilemma. One of the cinematographer devotees, holding the camera rod (on a tripod) was clearly ready to leave their cinematography duties and just fold their hands in front of their guru. That would be me too, fellow seeker. Yep, that's me. by @culdivsac

I encountered the sadhu on my walk, and asked him if I could take a picture. He said, yes. I have personally seen that only the more enthusiastic kinds say yes to a picture. They are keen and excited to see a proper camera. The sadhu wasn't in this category at all. I took the picture and showed it to him, the way I do with the others. He said, Hmmm, approvingly - not because he was happy or unhappy (he's above those things) but only to humour me. He wasn't an ordinary person on the street, mere fodder for my camera. I now longed to tell him about myself, that I have a spiritual guru, that I am a seeker myself. by @culdivsac
