Something that came out of my brain right after the assessments, when I was relieved of all stress. What is it - a time travelling snail and friends...?

Also, I am a huge fan of @vorjailustracion and I feel like in this work you can see that!

🎨 Rotring fineliners, watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, aquarel tape.

Read my story about a Fridge Detective now in the latest issue of @notanotherlitmagazine !
With many thanks to Dana A. Kahil, the Lebanese English teacher who offered me her knowledge about Lebanese culture.

Swipe to see the process!
I had my midterms presentation last week at @academieminerva and it was going quite well.

I made my first set of lithographic posters with the help of @marius_at_litholab in the past academic year. When trying to work out the sketch, I kept overthinking it, but Marius encouraged me to trust the wonkiness of the sketch and just blow it up instead of making it "perfect". That was a really good lesson in seeing how fast I can come up with a cool composition.

About the text, I found that in my notes and I think I wrote it down during a period in which I watched the documentary Fantastic Fungi on Netflix! I'm a huge fan of @paulstamets and his work.

For the Groningen friends who are interested: I still have some copies of the poster (they are all unique, because of experimentation). Hmu if you want one!

Self-portrait (or so it seems). Swipe to see what it looked like before I painted everything over (except for the spinach).

Simone the wizard, riso print. It is a self-portrait (because I obviously have fluorescent orange hair and too many yellow teeth). Swipe to see the digital design. It was a lot of fun to experiment with layering the colors and I managed to create something that is almost black without using actual black ink!

Messing around with indexed colors in Photoshop, giving this "Zwinkel" dude a new look. Which version do you like the most?

What I felt like when things were difficult in the first half of 2026. What did 2026 feel like for you so far?
I've definitely been feeling those flames again these past heatwave days.

Just a 'lil dude and the things he loves. I will turn this into a riso print in 2035. Perhaps.
