A new chapter of our story unlocked 🔐
This one’s a tough post for me. I heavily considered not posting or sharing this for months and keeping it a secret from everyone but direct family and friends. I suddenly realized this secret would be hard to keep with just how sick I’ve been. The things I loved before I can’t so much as smell, cooking was my outlet and now it makes me puke. I’m exhausted all day everyday and I had to go on a prescription just to keep myself out of the hospital from dehydration from all the “morning” sickness. Yea “morning sickness” is in quotation because whoever named it LIED. It’s absolutely all day sickness. Selfishly I feared sharing this with social media because I genuinely was terrified something would go wrong. I asked myself… why me? Why do I deserve this opportunity? Due to my autoimmune disease and having undergone chemotherapy radiation from the age of 13 to the age of 19 years old I was always told the possibility/ likelihood of ever having kids was very slim. When I met Pavel I was in a bad place, probably one of the darkest spaces mentally I’d been in my whole life. He saw that, he respected me, he understood that all I needed was a best friend. Fast forward a year and I made a joke regarding how we should just date and he could have my babies. (Spoiler alert he never ran away) Thus came a larger problem. The conversation as to the fact that although having children was a lifelong dream of mine it might not be entirely possible. He understood, he was more than willing to work through whatever hurdles or setbacks we would have and kissed me on the forehead. He promised me no matter what we would have our own little perfect family exacted as planned for us. Over the past 4 years we have grown so much together not only in our relationship but in life and I’m so proud of our little life we have. Here’s to us 🤰 by @cummins.queen

POV : You made it & made your younger self proud. 🥹 Younger me would absolutely not believe you if you were to show her what our life looked like today. A beautiful and healthy family, a stunning home filled with love and laughter every day, and a one-of-a-kind truck that resembles everything you’ve worked towards in life.
