The Norwegian fjords set the scene as Queen Anne welcomed guests on board for Wellness at Sea in partnership with Harper's Bazaar.

The voyage brought together an inspiring line-up of guest speakers, including Queen Anne Icon Katarina Johnson-Thompson, as well as mindful movement and meditation with spectacular fjord views, restorative moments in the Mareel Spa, and nourishing dishes from the Pavilion Wellness Café. Every day offered a chance to reconnect with their mind and body, to pause and recharge at sea.

There’s something truly special about being surrounded by the beauty of the open water. Whether it was watching the waves stretch endlessly toward the horizon, unwinding with a cocktail on deck, or discovering the incredible entertainment on board, every day brought something new.

I also had an opportunity to immerse myself in some incredible destinations - Provence, Tuscany, Ibiza, Barcelona and Valencia. Every stop felt like a chance to discover somewhere new, with excursions to suit every interest and ability.

As the day transitioned into a spectacular sunset and the ship began to glow under the evening sky, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for experiences like these - where relaxation, culture, and elegance come together in the most unforgettable way.

Ahead of the Sail4th 250 celebrations, Captain Hashmi welcomed NBC Today Show host Jenna Bush Hager on board Queen Mary 2. During her visit, Jenna signed the guest book in the ship's library, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, who sailed on board in 2012.

As Queen Mary 2 took pride of place on the Hudson River for this landmark event, it was a privilege to welcome guests on board and be part of an unforgettable celebration in New York.

Today is a special day for Cunard as we celebrate our anniversary alongside the United States' Independence Day.

Our flagship, Queen Mary 2, is proudly taking centre stage in New York as part of the Sail4th 250 celebrations.

Jenna Bush Hager is broadcasting live from the ship for NBC's TODAY show and was given a tour by Captain Hashmi. Her connection to Cunard is a personal one, her grandfather, the 41st U.S. President George H.W. Bush, fulfilled a lifelong dream by crossing the Atlantic aboard Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York.
