Wow June 16th. Definitely the longest year of my life. Not a drop of booze , no darts, no weed, Notta in a year. I’ve met some super cool people in the AA community and turns out we are all the same people with the same stories… no one can one up each other as we were pretty good at partying but had enough of that gross hungover feeling day after day. it’s definitely not easy but if you follow the program you can do it… but…. You have to want it- surrendering is the hardest - the thoughts of missing all the parties - the chaos - the fun shit and what will I do with myself etc. I had a blast but if I continued to have a blast I wouldn’t be typing this message.. I had no off switch… there is help out there if you want it. One day at a time they say.. Reach out anytime or come to a meeting with me 😎🫶🏽 by @cundell16
