Very very proud of some of these :) I am eternally working on improving my Sonic but it's fun to dabble in other characters like edgeworth and. My friend @fioconneely. Characters

a sad but earnest comic about transition

I needed to get the feelings onto the page and I kept waiting for a chance to do something grand and beautiful but it just had to happen even if it looks shitty. I love comics and think they're such a wonderful medium for expressing emotion, hopefully this one is cool too.

As I say in the comic, I will be alright. This is just a real low point. Thank you for reading, I'm a little uncomfortable being this earnest without any jokes or levity but in the world we live in I think artistic earnestness is powerful and needed

Character designs, Sonic, and gender, oh my!!!!! It's been really fun to do more doodles recently :) I'm really trying to get better at more three-dimensional looking sketches.

STING CLEANING (a silly animatic staring the Cungle boys) is out now on YouTube!! 🐝

This project may be familiar to some of you already, as it started out as my senior capstone film! I’d love to share the whole journey this film went on from its initial failure to its sudden rise and how much it’s meant to me to see it transform from a shameful failure project to something I’m excited to release...but that’s like a long and storied history best saved for a production post of some kind.

The TLDR is: it’s been a long time coming and I couldn’t have imagined ever getting to release the film with a smile on my face. I love these characters so much and I’m happy to show off more of their antics. Whether the art is beautifully rendered or scrappy as all hell, I’m glad people keep showing up to see what they’re up to next.

The film is out on the ConnorKurtzArt YouTube channel, but should appear in your subscription feeds if you’re subscribed to CungleArt as well. Please check it out when you get the chance!! Thank you, I love you, and I’m going to catch up on a lot of missed sleep now!!

I (officially) GRADUATED COLLEGE !!!!

I made a grad post a while ago, but I finally got to walk!! For my grad cap I did a simple little 4 panel comic of what I looked like in every year of college, gaining more eyebags over time before I suddenly become a girl !!! It's not much, but I like it :). Plus, my time was being spent elsewhere.......on a super secret little project you'll see very soon 🐝

EDIT: I put. I put the apostrophe for “shouldn’t” in the wrong place. I’ve been working nonstop on big projects for weeks and did this at the end of my day after like 3 hours of sleep, I’m really out of it by @cungleart

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAC-MAN

Lil doodle from work today to celebrate Pac-Man's bday!!!! I love him so much he's my little guy I'm ignoring that he's like a 40 year old suburban dad he's my little blorbo :) I also included some pics from my toy photography account and this clip from Pac-Man World 2 Repac that has become a frequent vocal stim for me. Happy bday Pac-Man!!!!

Larryboy was the first character I ever really tried to learn how to draw. I'm glad I've still got it all these years later :)
