🚌 We’re now on the home stretch of this rip across the country with @mattandersenmusic.

It’s been an incredible few weeks playing with some of the best musicians (@joshuavt, @christinebougie, @gauthier_guitar, @chrisfnkirby) in bucket-list clubs and theatres from coast to coast, seeing friends/family along the way, and a treat to hear @marielbuckley open the shows every night.

Big cheers to the amazing crew (@mr1fresnel, @dooland, @ashleyforsterlighting, @deleavey) for being the backbone of the whole operation and to Jackie for safely driving the bus from Halifax onwards! by @cunjak

🧘‍♂️ Nico Paulo’s beautiful new EP Interval_o is now available for you to listen.

She made the album with producer @joshuavt in his backyard studio, pictured here, last summer. @matt_horseman sneakily took this photo of me heading in to track bass.

Motherhood’s new album, Thunder Perfect Mind, is now out in the world!

A sci-fi odyssey about the sudden abduction of an unsuspecting pedestrian by a “dark, expanding Cloud," the album crosses many different genres from garage ('Flood II') to punk ('Bok Globule') to doom/surf ('Dry Heave') to pop ('Wandering') and even careens into hardcore ('Grow Higher') and spaghetti western ('Kyle Hangs at Noon').

This is the third record the band has entrusted me with as co-producer and was recorded entirely on 2" tape between Memramcook and Fredericton over the past three years. It's also my first triangle credit (on 'Moat') 😉

thisismiketrask recorded the album and has been an incredible mentor and friend over the past five years, teaching me how to operate the tape machine and giving me the confidence to feel comfortable taking a co-engineering role.

Mixed by @greg.saucier, someone both the band and I look up to as a guiding light on how to live and work effectively within the music industry.

I am forever grateful to @penny_andthepits, @brydoncrain, and @sippy_kupp for allowing me into their world. It's helped me grow as a musician and I'm incredibly proud of this record. Hope you take some time to listen to it over the coming days.

Available wherever you get your music and to order on 12" LP, CD, and Cassette via Bandcamp.

People of Fredericton, come see the release show tomorrow at Shivering Songs where both @keith_hallett and myself will be joining to play these songs. It sounds huge.
