@devecchiobakery - Norwich City ☕🥐 My bakery addiction meant I was the first ever customer through the door at Devecchio when they opened last year - and yesterday I was back again, first in line, grabbing treats for both halves of Cup of Norfolk. In our opinion, this is the best bakery in Norwich right now, and they’ve only gone from strength to strength. Our (slightly outrageous) order: 🍫 Choc chip monkey bread 🧀 Butternut squash & goats cheese Danish 🍯 Japanese-style toffee bread 🍫 Chocolate hazelnut pan suisse 🌶️ Nduja & fennel pinwheel 🐣 Easter chocolate cruffin ☕ Flat white Everything was remarkable. The pan suisse in particular - both in design and flavour - is right up there with some of the best we’ve had. The Japanese-style bread was something completely different and took us straight back to one of our favourite islands in the Pacific. With the Good Food Guide Top 50 Bakeries recently announced, we genuinely believe Devecchio have what it takes to be in that conversation in the future - we are talking next level pastry business 🍰🥐☕ Keep it up. (Enjoyed from the lofty heights of Kett’s Heights - great food deserves great views.) #NorwichFood #NorwichBakery #Devecchio #BestBakeries #CupOfNorfolk by @cup_of_norfolk

We love visiting our sister-county Suffolk and spending time discovering its coffee, cakes and bakes. So we thought we’d share some of our favourites from 2025 - places that really stood out to us this year. We’re excited to explore many more in the year ahead and hope you enjoy 🥰☕️ ☕️ Favourite Coffee @etude.coffee @the_silo_cafe Set inside a former grain silo - iconic in itself - Étudé are serving some of the best coffee not just in Suffolk, but arguably the whole country. 🥐 Favourite Bakeries (we couldn't pick just one hence the 'bakeries') @pumpstbakery Famous for their chocolate and deservedly featured in Britain’s Best Bakeries. Outstanding baking, world-class chocolate and excellent coffee, all from one beautiful pink building. 🍩 Favourite Bakeries @pinch.suffolk Another Britain’s Best Bakeries entry - which explains why choosing just one was impossible. Best known for their delicious kruellers. 🧀 Favourite Deli @tillosdeli A proper Suffolk staple. A brilliant local deli full of good things and always worth a visit. 💎 Favourite Hidden Gem @harvey_andco A hidden gem for us - though locals will certainly know it well. Excellent pastries and coffee, even mentioned in the Indie Coffee Guide. 🏫 Favourite Location @oldschoolcoffeeltd For someone who doesn’t love school, we certainly love this former one. Full of character, with lockers and school furniture, plus specialty coffee made by fantastic baristas. 🌊 Favourite Coastal Location @thecanteensouthwold A beautiful building with rich history and a real sense of community. Recognised by The Good Food Guide and loved by many. ☕️🍰 Favourite All-Rounder @blackdogdelihalesworth A beautiful space, great coffee and fantastic bakes - the perfect all-rounder. ✨ Favourite New Spot @pinetreebakes Opening their first store in 2025, this small family team are doing something really special. Intricate cakes, beautiful loaves and lovely coffee Here’s to many more cups and cakes in 2026 🥐☕️💛 #CupOfNorfolk #siffolk by @cup_of_norfolk
A trip up north called for a little bakery stop on the way home, and Haxby Bakehouse certainly didn't disappoint! 🤩 @haxbybakehousedeli 👏🫶 We ordered a latte and flat white before going all out on the bakes... Our eyes were bigger than our bellies yet again! 🍂 Pumpkin spice cinnamon bun 🍪 Chocolate chip cookie 🥐 Maple and pecan pastry 🧀 Cheese and chorizo brioche Haxby Bakehouse features in the Good Food Guide, and it's not hard to see why. A brilliant selection of bakes, lovely service and even some really affordable breakfast deals. There's more than just pastries on offer too, with freshly baked bread and a whole range of deli items. We had a real struggle deciding what to take home with us - there was just so much choice! A seriously good bakery and well worth a visit if you're up this way. What a place! ❤️ #YorkshireFood #CupOfNorfolk #GoodFoodGuide by @cup_of_norfolk
🏎️ 45 Fuel at Snetterton ☕️ @45fuel What a venue. We absolutely loved our visit to 45 Fuel. The decor is amazing, with two floors to explore, a rotating car showroom, motorbikes, a shop downstairs and fantastic views overlooking the racetrack. There’s so much to look at, and with regular car meets, it’s a brilliant spot for any car enthusiast (and those of us who are just there for the coffee and cake!..) The food and drink offering is just as impressive, with a fantastic range of desserts, bakes and savoury treats, alongside some really good-quality coffee. Here’s what we ordered: ☕️ Two flat whites 🍰 Almond tiramisu financier 🍐 Dark chocolate, pear and stem ginger tart 🥐 Sausage roll 🍪 White chocolate, miso and macadamia nut cookie Everything was so delicious! The bakes were full of flavour, and we loved having such a great range of choices to pick from!! It’s always a bonus when the venue itself is just as special as what’s on the menu, and 45 Fuel definitely delivers on both fronts. We didn’t need to book, but it did get very busy while we were there, so bear that in mind if you’re planning a visit! A fantastic venue, brilliant coffee and delicious treats. We couldn’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back soon! 🏁🏁 #45Fuel #Snetterton #NorfolkCafe #CupOfNorfolk by @cup_of_norfolk
The Vault at Silver Darlings - Time & Tide Museum Great Yarmouth ⛵ 🌊 🥪 ☕ @the_vault_gy @silver_darlings_cafe We recently visited the Time & Tide Museum during Heritage Week and after all of that learning we were in need of a big lunch! Luckily, right next door to the museum sits The Vault, where we had visited before in their Gorleston High Street Store. This time, we were trying their Vault Cafe at Silver Darlings. ♥️ Here is what we went for: ☕ Flat White ☕ Latte 🥕 Carrot Cake 🥥 Coconut & Raspberry Cake 🐟 Tuna Melt Panini 🌯 Pulled Pork Wrap Whether you're attending the museum or not, the food was tasty and hearty and worth a visit if you're in the area! #CupOfNorfolk #TimeAndTideMuseum #TheVault by @cup_of_norfolk
☕ Cup of Norfolk on tour at @cafealma.nice 🇫🇷 Tucked away down one of the many little back streets of Nice's Old Town, Cafe Alma was such a lovely find - just looking at their beautiful window made it an obvious choice. We settled outside to soak up the atmosphere and, more importantly, sample some of the beautiful bakes on offer whilst we waited to indulge ourselves.  Here's what we went for: 🍓 Matcha bun with strawberry coulis 🍫 Milk chocolate babka with passionfruit glaze 🍪 Miso sesame cookie 🍵 Matcha ☕️ Espresso The babka was absolutely stunning, oozing with flavour, while the matcha bun was light, fluffy and full of flavour. And you really can't go wrong with a miso cookie - this one packed a serious punch.  There was an array of babkas and other gorgeous bakes to choose from, so it wasn't easy deciding, but we were so glad with our choices and absolutely loved everything. Sitting outside made it even better, with the buzz of the Old Town around us while still feeling tucked away from the main streets. There is some seating inside too. We couldn't recommend this place more. So glad we visited! 🇫🇷✨ #CupOfNorfolk #NiceFood #NiceFrance by @cup_of_norfolk
@vidahaus_cafe 🌿 We’d been looking forward to a day trip in Suffolk, so a trip out to Vida Haus was definitely on the cards, especially as we'd been looking forward to seeing what they had to offer for quite some time now! We had a lovely time here, with plenty to enjoy beyond the food too. Here’s what we ordered: 🍒 Bakewell tart  🍫 Chocolate brownie  🍋 Lemon & blueberry muffin  🥪 Feta & roasted vegetable toastie  ☕ Flat white  ☕ Latte  Everything was delicious, and the perfect fuel for a day exploring this part of Suffolk. The space itself is lovely too, with a little shop area selling a gorgeous selection of books, toiletries and other bits and pieces. There’s also a yoga studio next door, which really adds to the relaxed feel of the place. There’s also plenty of seating inside, as well as outdoor space for when the weather is playing ball! 🌿 We spent some time exploring the surrounding area too, heading over to Wickham Market and Rendlesham Forest, so there’s plenty to do nearby if you’re making a day of it. A really lovely visit! ✨ #SuffolkFood #SuffolkCafes #CupOfNorfolk by @cup_of_norfolk
@fold.norwich 🥐 After following Fold’s social media with eager anticipation - from the folding of clothes to the making of pastries - we excitedly hurried down to Billy’s Coffee House this weekend for Fold’s soft launch in the city. And, as you can probably tell from the deliciousness of these pictures… it was a hit! It was glorious and well worth the visit. Here’s what we ordered: Maple Pecan Suisse Tart 🍁 Fig & Pistachio Pan Suisse 💚 Raspberry Pan Suisse Bow 🏹 Chocolate & Hazelnut Cigar 🍫 What a masterpiece! From the monster-sized raspberry bow, filled to the brim with raspberry cream, to the deliciously autumnal flavours of the maple and pecan tart, every pastry was impressive. What an introduction to Norwich from the people behind Fold! 👏 We’re very excited to see what they do next. Here’s hoping this is the beginning of their own little bakery in the city! 🥐🤞 Did anyone else manage to grab some pastries before they sold out? What did you get? Let us know! 👇 #CupOfNorfolk #Norfolk #FoldNorwich by @cup_of_norfolk
Back to Tillo’s Deli and honestly, we’ve been so so so excited to return ever since our first visit!! These guys really are top tier: the choice, quality and service are all so good, putting @tillosdeli up there as our favourite deli in the area by a long shot. 👏 It took us a while to decide what to have because there was so much to choose from, but as we’d made the trip to Oulton Broad with the sole purpose of visiting Tillo’s, we made sure to properly fill ourselves up and make the most of it! Here's what we went for... 🥪 Salt beef focaccia with mustard, slaw and pickles. Absolutely packed with flavour 🌱 Veggie sausage roll with potato and cheese: SO delicious! 🍋 Lemon meringue pie 🍰 Plum Basque cheesecake 🧊 Two iced lattes ☕️ And some coffee beans to take home Of course, we also had a good mooch around the shelves while we were there - Sunday Charcuterie, Fen Farm Dairy, wine, Brick pizza and so many other lovely things to pick up. It really is the perfect place to grab some high-quality bits for dinner, stop by after a wander around the park and Broads, or simply make a trip for the deli itself (which is exactly what we did!). Can’t wait to come back already! Thanks for having us! 🤎 #OultonBroad #SuffolkFood #CupOfNorfolk by @cup_of_norfolk
Meeting a friend on her lunch break is the perfect excuse to head into Norwich Market, so we made a beeline for @rabbits.norwich🐇🥗 We both grabbed some food and smoothies, and went for: 🥗 Seasonal salad - leaves, quinoa, roasted seasonal veg, feta, pickled red onions, tahini dressing & seeds 🥪 Sauerkraut and cheese toastie 🍓 Strawbeet smoothie (you guessed it - strawberry & beetroot 🍏 Green Rabbit smoothie - apple, spinach & ginger Everything was so tasty, with such fresh and delicious flavours. The guy who served us was also so helpful and friendly, which is always a bonus! 💚 There are plenty of seats if you fancy staying in the market to eat, or you can grab everything to takeaway if you're on more of a lunchtime mission. Would definitely recommend Rabbits for a fresh and tasty market lunch! 🐇 #CupOfNorfolk #NorwichMarket #NorwichFood by @cup_of_norfolk
Taverham Mill Café ☕🌿 We headed to @taverham_mill on Sunday and stopped at the café for some food before exploring the nature trail. The weather was lovely, so we definitely picked the perfect day for it! ☀️ The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and it was nice and easy to get our walking tickets - and, of course, some food for the cows! 🐄 We ordered: ☕ Flat white ☕ Latte 🍫 Chocolate and coconut flapjack 🍒 Cherry shortbread 🥪 Chorizo, chicken and roasted pepper panini Taverham Mill Café is a lovely little food stop before a wander around the nature trail. If you’re planning a visit to Taverham Mill, it’s definitely worth stopping for a bite to eat whilst you're there!! 💚👏 #CupOfNorfolk #TaverhamMill #NorfolkDaysOut by @cup_of_norfolk
