Enjoyed this Sunday with loved ones, relaxing, creating, eating good, and pouring some wine and champagne. Gratitude! Even made a floral arrangement using carrots and flowers from Trader Joe’s (inspired by Pintrest) and absolutely loved how it came out!!! 🌸🥕🌷 The best part is all the glassware and serveware you see is Son And Martena! And get into the beautiful wine bottle by the amazing @reynanoriega_ x @cliffamily !

A little over a week ago, my baby @sonandmartena and I had the pleasure of hosting the 5th Anniversary Happy Hour for Melanie of @omnshop! 🎉🍾

We served Sparkling Grape Mojito’s, Lime Sherbert Pineapple Colada’s (no coconut, we replaced with elderberry soda), and Elderberry Pineapple mocktails!

@sweetts.sweettreats served up the cute delicious cupcakes!

This beautiful, black woman owned salon was so beautiful..I wanted to live in that bathroom. So relaxing and such a well thought out and curated space to relax and get pampered! Book with Melanie and her team…and CONGRATULATIONS TO HER FOR 5 YEARS IN BUSINESS AND SUCCESS! Wishing her many, many more!!!

@brooklynmuseum Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of @therealswizzz and @aliciakeys was one of the best exhibits l’ve ever seen. It solidified my dream to collect and curate an art collection within my own home and inside my boutique hotels (God will make it happen)! Black art, black excellence, black joy! So inspiring...

Then visited...
@sluttyveganatl Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way! And Vegan where?!
The restaurant by our hotel @black_oak_on_fifth was chill and the espresso martinis’s were on GO MODE but the random bar afterwards and the company was TOP TIER ☺️
@4ambarlounge Biggs…you the GOAT and Ryan.. y’all already know 🎶(112 voice)
@cloudydonuts AGAIN...Vegan where?! AMAZING! The presentation, the taste, the hospitality…and the owners are from Bmore and DC 🤌🏾🙌🏾
@enly_nyc that Tiramisu Iced Matcha…got me right just in time for the let out of the @officialspikelee block party 🫠 (was too hungover to get there on time)
Oh and then @jackswifefreda was such a cute vibey brunch spot! Great drinks too 🥂

T R U S T T H E P R O C E S S . . .

This past Friday, Son and Martena brought additional vibes to the Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay event! 🥂The music by @djno.id was amazing and the beautiful people and great drinks just brought it all full circle, and made all the hard work worth it!

This display took HOURS to create! This included curating the layout of album covers, assembling the structure that the records went on, measuring each and every hole precisely (4 holes x 38 records= 152 total), adding gold grommets, gold binder rings, packed and secured the display, set up, and break down. This weekend was a major success…
S W E E T S U M M E R S N I F F & S I P was nothing short of amazing!!! Good vibes, good music, great energy, great food, drinks and decadent fragrances! Black women and luxury…this experience honestly changed my entire understanding and appreciation for perfume. I loved perfume before but now I’m OBSESSED with new favorites I was never introduced to prior to this!

Special thanks again to the beautiful curators @brandimebane @ashboogie03 …and shoutout to @lebleubodycare for her luxury scents and beautiful packaging to match! And a huge thank you to @adrianakc and Tim for their assistance! Couldn’t have done it without y’all 💗

Thank ya’ll for trusting Son and Martena to curate and create the perfume displays, florals, summer mocktails/cocktails, and bar setup (including dried floral icecubes, glassware, and serve ware). So grateful for this experience! We can’t wait for the next one!

Finally experienced the Renaissance Tour….and all I can say is LIFE CHANGING…ENERGY!!! Great vibes, amazing fits, flawless performances, pure bliss and the QUEEN 🐝.
