This wedding cake is our little love letter to Ciara and Gareth 💌

We had the pleasure of knowing this kind, lovely couple long before they became our bride and groom. They’ve been regulars at our café for years, and it’s been such a joy seeing them every morning on their coffee run before work. Ciara and I also share a love for Taylor Swift, which definitely helped turn familiar faces into dear friends.

We were absolutely thrilled when they shared the exciting news of their engagement. Almost instantly, I started imagining what their wedding cake would look like, and it was such a privilege to bring that vision to life.

To our beautiful newlyweds, Ciara and Gar, thank you so much for trusting us to be part of such a special day. It was truly an honour and a pleasure to design and create your wedding cake. Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

The moment I saw the style brief for this wedding, I knew this was a cake I had to create. While I’ll always have a soft spot for crafting our signature sugar flowers, the opportunity to explore wild, exotic botanicals was something truly special.

Inspired by nature in its most untamed and captivating form, every bloom was meticulously handcrafted in sugar to echo the beauty, movement, and character of the real flowers. Creating a design that felt both refined and unexpected made this one of the most rewarding cakes I’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life.
