just a happy guy :D
This was one of my first painterly style commissions and maybe the the cutest thing I’ve ever made? I used a gastrodon plush for the reference for this dude so it would be extra squishy and chunky, I need to do more plushie cards haha

The Garchomp Commission! This custom pokemon card was so fun to paint, the blue against the holo fighting energy is just too pretty! Here is a lil snip of my artist process, the timelapse at the end is sped up 100x 😵‍💫

A lil bulbasaur I was commissioned to do a while ago! This custom pokemon energy card is one of the first ones I did using paint pens, and it came out a treat!! The pose was based on an official statue, with tweaked positioning and a background to fully frame the final creation. Still obsessed with how the red pops on the vibrant green backgrounds, my only regret is I wish I could have kept it 🥲

This is my best custom binder, it’s so intricate and vibrant and I’m beyond proud of it! As an artist, sometimes we make a choice to make the hardest possible things, the symmetry and extreme detail of the patterns were indescribably challenging, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I really love the artstyle of the prismatic evolutions SIR umbreon, the artist has a phenomenal aesthetic that I want to delve in to more. Thanks for enabling me to make these beautiful things, you’re all the best <3

This is my new favourite binder. The Prismatic Evolutions Umbreon is such a pretty card, I adore the patterns and artstyle of it, I wish it wasn’t so expensive 💀💀
I painted this custom pokemon card binder with acrylic pens and finished it with a lil bit of glitter on the terastal crown so she’s sparkly and intricate and perfect and I love her. She also took ages to make so I’ll be sad to see her go, but unfortunately I need to pay rent 😅

Espeon - the Sunlight Pokemon. Wields an arcane power with which it can predict the weather and even people’s thoughts. When bathed in sunshine, the scarlet orb on its brow glows and builds energy.

Umbreon: the Moonlight Pokemon. When darkness falls, the rings on the body begin to glow, striking fear in the hearts of anyone nearby.

I painted another binder, this time the espeon from the next special Pokemon tcg set! The lens flare in the front was b e y o n d satisfying when it came together, I’m so proud of this one!! (Also I realised I forgot to flip the footage at the end and now it’s too late to fix it please don’t be mad)

Watch me make a custom painted Umbreon binder, featuring the Pokemon 30th anniversary Illustration rare card from the next special TCG set. Which card are you most excited for from the next special set?

Who’s ready for Pokemon TCG’s 30th Celebration! If you’re team Umbreon, this is the custom binder for you ✨✨✨

Thanks so much to everyone for your patience with me. My art process is not super linear, and neither are my posting habits so forgive me for not posting in so long. Hopefully I can make up for it with some of the art I’ve worked super hard on, starting with this! I’ve got a bunch of new energy sketch custom card content as well as some custom painted binders, which have been so satisfying to make! For the next two weeks I’m gonna try to post at least every other day, then hopefully get in to a slightly slower sustainable rhythm after that. Follow me to see what else I’ve made, I can assure you that it’s worth it 💖💖 by @cuppaphee

I don’t life-post on here often, but this week has been just really nice! Last weekend, Toby and I went for a date day I planned for us, followed by London Card Show on the Sunday. We met friends, old and new, and made some paintings!! I’ve really been enjoying getting back to my roots of making physical artwork lately (sorry for the lack of progress on digital stuff and YouTube, I’ll make more soon <3) and being able to share my passion with my amazing fiancé was such a pleasure! We have to do stuff like that more often ^-^
After a pretty normal first half of the week, yesterday was Toby’s birthday!! As well as a chill day at the park with a picnic, pals and playing games, we got a super cool parcel from Uniqlo! Although it was a coincidence all these shirts arrived on his birthday, it was a very excited addition to an already pretty sweet time! Thanks so much for the cute shirts, they’re so comfy and I can’t wait to wear them all, especially the Pokemon collab ones!!

All this to say, I’m just feeling really grateful for everything in my life right now. I get to spend my days doing what I love, learning and improving my skills, and the most amazing man is by my side every step of the way. Life is good ✨
