Porque un cafecito con un poquito de cultura just hits different. 🤎☕️🇲🇽

The Ibarra brings the flavors we grew up with, while Carnation evaporated milk adds that rich, creamy finish that makes every sip so good 🫶🏼

A little bit of México… a little bit of coffee shop… and one really good cafecito. ☕🤎

Save this recipe for your next cafecito. ☕🤎

Comment “MUG” and I’ll send you the link to this adorable coffee pot mug!

The moment I saw this little crystal cup at the thrift store, I knew exactly what I wanted it to become 🤎

I’ve seen a few lovely creators turn thrifted glassware into match holders and was completely influenced 😅✨

A quick wash, some matches, and now it has a permanent spot next to my favorite candle.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make a corner feel complete. 🤎

One of those salsas that you’ll always want to have in the fridge 🫶🏼

Hi, I’m Janette. 🤎

Whether you’re new here or you’ve been following along for a while, I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I’m the creator behind Cups & Corners.

Outside of Instagram, I’m a registered nurse, a wife, and a mom to two amazing daughters. My husband and I have been together for 25 years (we were just teenagers when we met!), and our home is also shared with three very spoiled dogs. 🐶

We’ve only owned our home for seven years. Before that, we rented for a long time, so getting to slowly make this house our own has been one of my greatest joys. 🏡

I’m a proud Mexican American, and that naturally finds its way into just about everything I share here. Whether it’s a cafecito in the morning, a homemade meal, Spanish music playing in the background, styling a cozy little corner of my home, or finding joy in the simple routines of everyday life, this page is a reflection of the things I love most.

I hope this page inspires you to try a new recipe, create a cozy corner in your own home, or simply enjoy the little moments that make everyday life so special.

Thank you so much for being here. It truly means more than you know. 🤎

I’d love to get to know you too! Tell me where you’re from or what brought you to my page. ☕👇🏼 by @cups.andcorners

Just when I thought my bedroom couldn’t get any cozier. 🤎🌿

I’ve always loved bringing earthy colors and natural textures into my home, so these new linens from @onequince fit right in. The Dusty Olive linen sheets bring in that touch of green I love from my plants, while the Sand quilt ties everything together with the warm, neutral tones already in my bedroom. It’s cozy, it’s simple, and it feels like me. 🤎

Which color would you choose for your bedroom? Follow + comment BEDDING and I’ll send you the links to both! 🛏️🤎

They say money can’t buy happiness… but a homemade horchata shaken espresso comes pretty close 🤎☕️

A little horchata, freshly pulled espresso, and a good excuse to skip the coffee shop 🙌🏼
Nothing beats cafecito at home ☕️

Woke up to rain this morning and the house feels extra cozy. 🤎🍂

I’m usually all about neutrals, but during fall I love bringing in those warm, rich colors. I think this might be my favorite time of year to decorate.

If you know my home, you know I love my real plants. 🪴🤎 My dumb cane had been in this corner forever, but she got way too tall for the space and I was honestly scared that long stem was going to break. 😭

I still wanted a big tree here, just not one that felt too heavy or covered everything behind it. This one is so airy you can still see the wall and stairs through it, but it fills the corner just enough. Plus I love how it looks mixed in with all my real plants.

Pretty sure this one can stay here forever. 🤭

And perfect timing because it’s on sale for Prime Day. 🤎

I love a designer coffee table book as much as the next person… but when you need a stack of 3 or 4 for decor, it gets expensive real quick. 😂📚

So I started checking thrifted books underneath the dust jackets, and you’d be surprised how many have the prettiest colors and spines hiding under there. 🤎

For a couple dollars each, I can pick out colors that work with my home and stack them anywhere I need a little something.

So yes… this is your reminder to take the jackets off the books at the thrift store. 😂

Follow along + Save this one for your next thrift trip. 🍂🤎
