Thank you to everyone who came out to our first coworking day installment—The Real on Revenue for Creatives hosted at @keptsecret.htx. This experience kicked off Longevity InAction, 3-part series in honor of Juneteenth and it was beautiful.

@shadavis dropped gems, and the room was filled with thought-provoking exchanges from the morning session to noon session.

I turned 30 on a full moon.
Cycles are completing.

My parents suffered 4 miscarriages and on 5/31, I broke the veil.

Nothing happens by chance. Destiny writes itself.

I’m going to get candid with y’all for a moment.

Last year almost took me out. I suffered back to back losses that made life feel like a living hell.

In the midst of those dark times, there were still beacons of light that peeked through.

Last May, @curatedbydes and Candidly Convenient was awarded by @uhbauercollege as a recipient of the SURE Program’s “Best Business Award”.

The award ceremony was only a month after my daddy’s funeral. Although I’d been overwhelmed with gratitude, there was still a fog over my foresight.

With God’s grace, my vision is more clear than ever.

Being one of the 10 selected out of 95 other extraordinary founders isn’t anything I take lightly.

Why? I almost didn’t pitch.

I thought I wasn’t prepared because my mind wasn’t there, and truly had difficulty articulating my business model like my consultant could with ease.

I literally withdrew from the competition. The day of!

But guess what happened? My name was still called to present. 😳

My first reaction was WTH—there’s been a mistake. I’d told my team and my consultant but somehow, my company was still on the roster.

Took it as a sign and proceeded to head to a room where 5 judges would be waiting on a full pitch deck presentation.

My colleagues had full demos alongside their decks.
I didn’t even have my laptop, only my phone.

The judges were left in awe. So was I.

Praise and proof I’d received that day will forever be in my heart. 🥹

As life goes on—there will be moments that test our faith, strength and sanity. 2025 taught me to move with grace as well as extend it.

A friend (@miriumm_ 🤍) asked me yesterday what my word of the year is for 2026. My answer?

Onward.

BTS of a very draped December from sketch to build out. Got to do an immersive portrait set at @houstongalleria’s Ice Rink in collaboration with @christianlouboutin and installed textiles for my mixer at @saintcharlestudio.
