Happy Friday love sponges by @curatedcharm

More glimpses from the first conversation experience. ✨
A little food.
A few good questions.
A softer room.
Here is where conversations have somewhere safe to land. And, what I am getting to appreciate even more, is that better gatherings can be simple. They just need a little intention. 🤎 by @curatedcharm

Where do I begin? Ermawgawd! ⁣
⁣
Is it with the fact that I almost didn’t do this? ⁣
That even two days before we gathered, I almost pulled the plug… again? 😫⁣
⁣
Or do I start with the conviction which has been making it difficult for me to focus on anything else? Or is it with the hand written cards I created almost a year ago? Maybe I should start with the teeny tiny fact that I’ve had the idea for conversation cards for a while… but I kept circling it. Yyeeeaaaahhhhh… let’s start there…⁣
Too late. Too short noticed. Too rushed. Too unstructured. I have had excuse after excuse… month after month. And ⁣
⁣
So this time, I stopped planning. I let go of all the ideals I had in mind and I started asking for support through the fogginess. ⁣
No workshop.⁣
No big announcement.⁣
Just a table, yummy food and twelve questions.⁣
⁣
Something shifted when I stopped seeking permission. The result was warm, easy and honest. ☺️ This was the first and it felt sssooo right. ⁣Give me a minute to bask in this! by @curatedcharm

For quite some time, Curated Charm took on the identity of creative journaling. But underneath that, was always something else. Something intangible which were about relationships, presence and conversations that just feel natural and unforced.

Through many errors, challenges and disruptions, I have consistently been lead to nurture something small and radically intentional.
Not loud. Not performative. Just honest.

Stay close. by @curatedcharm

This truly feels like magic on paper! ⁣
⁣
My journey with creative journaling started as a personal escape, a super practical way to navigate the highs and lows of life. I like to call it the “big people version” of all my diaries I used to keep as a pre-teen, teen and young adult. ⁣
⁣
Now, it’s become a sanctuary—a place where self-expression and emotional wellness meet.⁣
⁣
I get it, life can be overwhelming (especially as someone who is highly sensitive)and so finding ways to deal with stress and anxiety is always top priority for me. ⁣
⁣
I’m excited about this magical way of turning chaos into calm! Can’t wait to unlock all that’s in store. ⁣ by @curatedcharm

Happy Sunday Love Sponge!!! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Today’s art work comes from an intentional effort to shift out of a gloomy state, to one filled with more abundance and gratitude. ⁣And, I’m happy to report that the mission was accomplished!⁣
*insert exaggerated sigh* ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You know, one of the things I love most about creative journaling, is that it’s a tool that’s almost always accessible to help me regulate my thoughts, feelings and emotions. I’ve been journaling since I was about ten years old and this amped up practice of adding colours, textures and pizzazz to documenting my thoughts, has brought the experience to a wwhhooollllleeeeee new level!!! ⁣
⁣
Believe me when I tell you that creative journaling is a key to unlocking new perspectives and it is also therapy you didn’t even know you needed. It has been an awesome guide for me- perhaps it could be yours too. 😉🪄 by @curatedcharm

Happy Thursday Love Sponge!!! 🌸💕🖌️
⁣
Here’s a snapshot from a quick session I had earlier. Creative journaling is one of the easily accessible tools I use to untangle my mind when I’m facing a creative block. And boy did I need it earlier. 😪 ⁣
⁣
Anyone else finds clarity and solace in releasing their thoughts on paper through sketching, writing or patch work? There’s just something about the tactile experience of holding paper, glue and writing instruments that makes me so relaxed and in the flow, in little to no time. Feel free to snap a quick shot and share with me. I’d love to see your creations! 😁 by @curatedcharm

Pause for a moment and ask yourself…⁣ 💭💕⁣⁣
“How am I feeling today?” ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I don’t know about you, but it’s sooooooo easy for me to rush through my daily routines without listening to what my heart and body might be telling me. Since I need a check in/reminder/prompt sometimes, I’m here to do the same for you. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
So… how are you feeling today? If you have a journal, post it or even a napkin close by, grab it and jot it down. And, if you feel compelled to, you can snap a quick pic of your response and send me a DM as well. 😘 by @curatedcharm

I’m discovering new dimensions of my creativity every day and my goal is to give you guys more glimpses into the creative processes through more documentation. I should be explicitly clear, that it’s going to be hecka challenging. ⁣
⁣
As an Aquarius I tend to over analyze situations. Oftentimes, that leads to me getting lost in my thoughts and wrapped up in the process which means I tend to share very little. This means a lot of end results with little in between. 🥴 So, I’m working super duper hard on portraying more of the things that bring me joy and getting more out of my head, despite how uncomfortable it is in that region.
⁣
What I hope will be one of the takeaways, is a fresh perspective on creativity and expression… which has always been an unmovable personal penchant since I’ve known myself. Looking forward to all the goodness there is to come and to growing with each other. Hint… shared safe spaces and activities are on the horizon. by @curatedcharm

I’m a tad bit late in planning for this month because we’ve been under the weather with this nasty flu. So grateful to be able to take in the fresh and wonderful possibilities that tend to come with April!!!! I hope you’re also tapping into the goodness associated with this season of renewal and new beginnings. 🌸 Stay tuned for something special that’s blooming on the horizon. I can’t wait to share that, so the announcement is coming soon (twirls) by @curatedcharm

🎨✨ ⁣Since I’ve started giving art my full attention again, I’ve being been reminded of all the reasons we chose each other. And boy, it’s a reconnection I am grateful for! ⁣
⁣
One of the things I’ve been enjoying the most is that in the midst the whirlwind of life, letting my thoughts flow freely on paper always somehow feels like sacred work. ⁣So beautiful that I feel compelled to share with this growing community.
⁣
I hope you’ll stay tuned for something special brewing on the horizon! I can assure you, a journey of discovery awaits! by @curatedcharm

Can you believe I almost didn’t give myself the space to practice my art? 🎨 ⁣The reason? I was too busy playing my cards ‘right’ and following the rules. ⁣
⁣⁣
In retrospect, it translates to asking a flower not to bloom and that feels like a downright criminal offense. But here’s the thing – investing in yourself is never a waste. How could it be? ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Nurturing your passions means you’re directly investing in your growth, your joy and your journey towards becoming the best version of yourself. ✨ The price one has to pay in doing the opposite of that is far too high if you ask me. ⁣⁣
And so, at this stage of my journey, I am fully committed to excavating every ounce of MAGIC within me and I think everyone should do the very same because ERRMAWGAWD… I loooooovvveeeee it here. ⁣
⁣
Tell me… what’s one unnurtured passion of yours that you’re willing to let grow and glow? I’m all ears (eyes). by @curatedcharm
