there’s a certain special something about @shambhala_mf - the community is like no other, the atmosphere is stunning & there’s magic around every single corner. it’s arguably the best party in north america⛰️☀️🌈🎶🦦🌻🪩❤️~

for me, it’s not so much about the elaborate party and catching the magnificent sets, but more so, the ones we choose to dance with. the friends that road trip together and make memories beyond the festival walls; the ones that come and get you in the middle of the dance floor to take you with them to the next; the ones that hold you tight when the frequency hits and all you can think of is how much you miss your loved ones in the stars; the ones that catch your breath in an embrace; the new connections you feel like you’ve met before or known for a lifetime and the old ones you’ll never let go of. there’s just a certain specialness about all of that. it’s certainly a gift, and one that is not to be taken for granted. all of my gratitude to this sacred farm on the salmo river, for bringing us all together, once again✨ taken in Shambhala Music Festival by @curiousjulia

28 years of Laura will never be enough ♡🪽~ it was her birthday on sunday, april 26th. she would have been 33. we’ve now spent five birthdays here on earth missing her. i wish i could say these days get easier, but they don’t. time spins, the memories fade a little and yet, the love remains and in fact - it grows.

this girl continues to teach me life’s biggest lessons. i am honoured to be her sister and i will never ever stop singing her name. i’ll forever keep searching for her in the beauty, because i know i can always find her there 💫

11.5 years of days with pais ~
this girl had the attitude of betty white,
the appetite of an entire football team
& a heart of absolute gold 💛

paisley left an eternal paw print on our hearts.
we always dreaded the day we’d have to say goodbye to her, but it was a little easier than we imagined. we hold hope knowing she’s reunited with our sweet angel lu, who taught her all of her best qualities ⭐️

it’s hard to find the words to express my gratitude for this adventure to california~

in 2018, my sweet sister @laur_gee and i went to california for a very special trip to @libfestival. prior to the festival, we went to yosemite national park, which was a bucket list item for both of us. laura quickly evolved into “ranger laurie”, as she learned facts about the giant redwoods and relayed them back to me, in full ranger mode.

i knew that returning to california would be an emotional experience but also, i had to do it.
i knew the pacific ocean and the redwoods had messages for me and i had to report for duty. sequoia national park was calling…
all i could hear was laura’s voice guiding me there ♡

there were L’s on the trees and heavenly pink skies as the sun was setting; ravens would fly by in the most significant moments and make their presence known. my heart was screaming with grief and gratitude. i love my sister more than anything and the magnitude of her angelic presence continues to amaze me. she is amazing and even though i can’t physically see her, i sure can feel her ♡✨

big thanks to the GOAT, @escapecampervans for always providing the best adventure mobile,
to @acramer29 for being a super fun, hilarious and compassionate road dawg and to my sweet, witchy friend @alexandria_clair for bringing her pup across the country and teaching me how to percolate coffee…i love you babes.

it’s Laura’s 32nd birthday today ♡
there’s no words in the human language to explain my love for her soul & my gratitude for her existence. she truly brought a smile and connection to everyone she met…
& if you know her - you know that.

this little clip that i made for her celebration of life is just a little glimpse of her famous “Ranger Laurie”- showcasing just how cool, grounded and hilarious she is. i miss her so deeply, yet somehow she reminds me that she’s never actually left, because she’s everywhere and always reporting for duty. she is a very powerful angel & i hope they’re having an amazing celebration for her in the stars✨i love you, sister. by @curiousjulia

she is, eternally, the queen of halloween 🎃✨

i’m not the only one that misses angel @laur_gee a little extra this week…
she always had at least 3 costumes every year and somehow dressed up with everyone.
she played incredible, super spooky theme sets on the dj decks.
she carved the most intricate pumpkins.
she brought the extra spook, all month long.

she will forever be honoured, remembered and celebrated on halloween and samhain.
the veil is thin and i feel her magic ♡
i love you, my witchy little sister in the stars.
we all miss you beyond measure 🧡
