What to do when the world is upside down
Step 1: climb a tree
Step 2: that’s it. It’ll still be upside down but at least you’re in a tree

Shower demo was very cathartic. Bonus points if you can tell who visited me on this day in a tiny silver car. Color grading video isn’t nearly as fun as photo editing 🫠 blargh by @curiouskatch

Biddies are weird. I mean bodies. Bodies are weird. Bjj has been teaching me to wait and listen, kinda like Toph Beifong, remember? But it’s a lesson I’m having a difficult time getting my body to trust. That I don’t have to be in active fight mode to survive. Then I go and hurt my foot, freaking plantar fasciitis, and now I’m taking a forced break from rolling and man that’s been really hard.

If you know me well you know I can be quite *intense*. I go HARD into whatever it is I’m going into. It’s meant surviving. And sometimes even thriving. Learning to be content with giving 40% or even 80% tho! Thats proving to be the most difficult task so far.

This painting has nothing to do with the caption. Or maybe it has everything to do with it. Hehehe by @curiouskatch

Hi checking in how are you, surviving okay? I’m in the Bay Area this week and I’m working and trying to buy a new gi oh yeah I started jiujitsu and I’m loving it do you know how good it feels to do a sweep on someone much bigger than you it feels so damn good and powerful I think everyone ought to try out jiujitsu or any form of self defense I have never felt more embodied before except maybe when I’m hanging on the side of a big cliff hundreds of feet in the air yup climbing and maybe also when I’m having really great seggs okay kool thanks for reading it’s been a while bye! Yup, I like the film better for sure! Tho I must say I did a pretty good job with the tones in the digital version. Digital is last image. Which do you prefer? by @curiouskatch
