Happy Birthday Papa. Not a second of life makes sense without you since you’ve been gone but one thing I find comfort in is that you are my father.

Thank you for the songs, the long drives, the dances and the messages demanding us to come home after a night out so many things I can mention. But what I miss most is the assurance you had in your voice that everything is going to be okay, I need that more than ever now.

It’s the second birthday without you and the second Father’s Day too so things have been rough because we know how much you loved celebrating life especially because of the cake that came with it.

I had the best and if you met my papa, I know you’ll agree.

I miss this man with every fibre in me and I don’t know if I’ll ever be okay with living the rest of this crazy life without him.

Happy Birthday Papa, your princess misses you. by @curled_cath

We are turning the page to an exciting new chapter at Run4Schools! ✨

After a thoughtful decision by the Run4Schools board, Cathlin’s appointment as Manager of Run4Schools SA NPC marks a deeply special, full-circle moment. From her beginnings as an Alpine Primary student and program participant, her journey embodies everything we stand for.

With her lived experience and dedication, she will contribute to our mission to strengthen impact and empower youth across Mitchells Plain.

This past weekend, I had the privilege, in my capacity as Community Ambassador for @run4schoolsfoundation , alongside our newly appointed General Manager, @curled_cath , to hand over 14 pairs of @pureendurances running shoes to Coach Ashley Smith, who continues to dedicate his time and passion to coaching and developing young athletes in Mitchell’s Plain.

We all know that running comes with its costs, and the right equipment isn’t always affordable for everyone. That’s why initiatives like these mean so much. It’s about more than just a pair of running shoes; it’s about creating opportunities, opening doors and allowing these young athletes to continue running, learning and chasing their dreams.

A heartfelt thank you to the @run4schoolsfoundation Board, @curled_cath and @pureendurances for coming on board and making this possible. Your support is truly appreciated.

Coach Ashley and the athletes, keep putting in the work. I have no doubt that you will make us proud. Sometimes all it takes is someone believing in you and giving you that little push to keep going.

Forward is the message. Always. ❤️

We are turning the page to an exciting new chapter at Run4Schools! ✨ So proud to announce Cathlin Williams as our new general manager. As friend of AndyWilliams, father of Cathlin, co-founder of our foundation, this means so much to all involved and me personally.
