1️⃣Shampoo with red colour shampoo
2️⃣ Applied @k18hair_australia treatment ( no conditioner) and left that in
3️⃣Applied my favourite hair styler these days, the @jessicurl Spiralicious gel ( also available for purchase from @messycurlaustralia )
Gel is applied in sections for extra definition
4️⃣Used the @bouncecurl brush to style my hair and oh my god was it so easy to use!! No tugs or pulls on the hair, and because or the groves on all sides it doesn’t really matter which way you hold it. The best tip for more volume though to pull up and away from the root( in any direction is fine)
5️⃣Diffused dry using the @bellissimahairtools_hq diffuser!

I’m back! Kind of…
Almost 2 years post COVID and I pride myself on mastering a quick wash and go as it seems I’m always up to something these days ( yes, including work😂)

Will get around to filming my quick washday soon!

Curly to straight with @stylux.au !

✨It’s been over a year since I straightened my hair, so I was happy to try out @stylux.au to see how effective & easy it is to use on curly hair!
✨Started with dry hair, and I used a heat protector spray to protect my curls.
✨I used @stylux.au on the 2nd heat setting , the one recommended for “Fine & thin hair”, and that was perfect for me!
✨It took me about 25 minutes to do my hair, which is pretty good!
✨Plus point to @stylux.au because I did not, even once, feel like I was about to burn my face/scalp due to the heat of the straightener! ( and this has happened before in the past with other types 🥲)

@keracolorhair saves the day!!

So happy I had this product in several shades- and the one I thought I’d never use “Mocha” actually saved the day!

When I left the hair salon unhappy and looking like the first photo, I knew I had to try fixing it myself! Thankfully I was able to do that easily with the @keracolorhair conditioner which worked beautifully & gave my hair the hydration it needed after getting foils done!

@keracolorhair is colour conditioner ( + cleanser !) & using it is as easy as it sounds!

Why I like this better than Semi- Permanent hair colours:
✨Doesn’t stain ( semi permanent colour stains hands/floor/ anything it touches)
✨This is actually an AMAZING hair treatment! My hair felt waaay better since it felt that the foils ruined my hair !( Semi permanent is a colour only and NOT any sort of treatment)
✨Fades out quicker than semi-permanent and that’s why I wasn’t concerned about this “Mocha” shade ending up too dark!

Wore my curls natural to a photoshoot with the brilliant @juliepowellphotography and I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out!

The mood board for this photoshoot was all Julie’s vision and it was epic 😍

Highly recommend her @juliepowellphotography if you’re in VIC & need some portraits done (elvish or otherwise 🤣)

I’ve been having fun with this colour conditioner ( + cleanser !) from @keracolorhair

Music: Afrobeats remix by @osocity 😍
I’ve used this in red/auburn in the past, but I’ve only used it on wet hair, and while it gave me a pop of colour, I realised I wasn’t using it to its true potential!

✨My recommended steps✨
1️⃣Brush out dry hair with gentle detangling brush ( using @slick.it hairbrush in video)
2️⃣ Apply product generously on dry hair.
3️⃣ Brush hair again to distrubute the colour conditioner evenly ( using @wetbrushaustralia detangler in video)
4️⃣ Leave on like any other conditioning treatment. 20-40 minutes is a good time.
5️⃣Wash out with mild shampoo/cleanser (optional as this is a cleanser too) , style hair as normal & enjoy!

Why I like this better than Semi- Permanent hair colours:
✨Doesn’t stain ( semi permanent colour stains hands/floor/ anything it touches)
✨This is actually an AMAZING hair treatment! My hair feels so good when I use it & my curls are so bouncy afterwords, possibly because they’ve been cleansed & conditioned!( Semi permanent is a colour only and NOT any sort of treatment)
✨Fades out quicker than semi-permanent, thus great for experimenting & having fun!

‼️⚠️Disclaimer: Colour will come out differently depending on your base colour, and the fade out will be different, so one should have an open mind when using these colour conditioners
