First I would like to give All praise and Honor to the Lord for waking me up everyday for the past 30 years.

As I reflect on how much I have accomplished in thirty years by graduating college at 21, finishing law school and becoming the first attorney in my family by 24 followed by getting married to the love of my life at 25; some would argue that’s incredible.

However, my faith was not the strongest through out all my accomplishments. When I turned 29, I set myself on a mission to become closer to God and work on finding my purpose in life.

As humans, we often compare ourselves to others and believe the grass is greener on the other side. I have made poor choices in my twenties despite my accomplishments.

I am wiser. I am stronger. I am entering into a new chapter of my life and I am excited. I have created an amazing village of friends and family. My marriage is stronger than ever.

For the first time, I am truly excited for the future because I am fully using the gift God provided to me.

Change is coming. No longer should have, would have, or could have from me. It’s not a risk when you have faith. 😇

Ending Black History Month as Homeowners 💙

Let me tell yall how amazing God can be if you fully trust in him. This homebuying process was not easy but putting our faith and trust in God made it all worth while.

While people were buying homes when the interest rates were really low, I didn’t want to rush because it did not feel right. We wanted to move on God’s time not the world.

While in the process, interest rates were skyrocketing and Hubbz got laid off two months before closing. However, the God we serve is an amazing one. Not only did Corey get a new job, it pays wayyy more!

That interest rate? It got lowered. Who’s paying 8%? Not us! Also I was able to switch brokages so I got my full commission on the sale of this home.

How did we know this was God’s plan? We closed on this house not putting money out but getting paaiiddd at closing.

All I can say is when your foundation is built on faith and works, God will provide all the time. I cannot wait to host dinner parties and start our family in this home.

Cheers to three years traveling the world with the man God created for me.

Three years we made a commitment with God as the foundation.

Three years of laughs, love, fights and all, I know God made it so we could be together.

Told in 11th grade he would marry me and look at him now 😜.
