New job. New laptop. Same morning Strawberry Core Power. Except now it hits a little different.

Today is officially Day 1 at fairlife!

I’m so excited to join a company that’s right in the middle of so many things people are looking for more protein, great nutrition, convenience and products that actually taste good.

I’m also officially the new kid again, which means lots to learn, lots of new people to meet, and teaching everyone how to say my name again.

But mostly, I’m just really excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to betting on yourself, trying something new, and starting the next chapter.

Now excuse me while I go drink the company milk… by @currentmile

It’s been a crazy week, and I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but next week I’ll be wrapping up my final week at Kroger after 11 years.

Eleven years is a long time. More than a quarter of my life. And I grew up there in a lot of ways: professionally, obviously, but personally too.

SO much life happened during those years.

I lost my dad, three grandparents and Doug’s dad. I got a life-changing heart diagnosis. I ran a whole bunch of marathons. I gained and lost some very loved four-legged family members. There were some incredible highs and some really hard lows.

And through all of it, I had people at Kroger and throughout this industry who became so much more than coworkers.

They became some of my closest friends.

We pushed each other to be better. We took risks. We had hard conversations. We made mistakes. We learned. We laughed, a lot. And we pivoted.

Good Lord, did we pivot.

Those people showed up for me outside of work, too. They checked on me. They celebrated with me. They sat with me through some really hard days. They donated to causes I cared about, showed up at events, cheered for races and became part of my life well beyond work.

That’s what makes leaving after 11 years so bittersweet.

But if the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that life is way too short to stay comfortable just because comfortable is familiar.

Sometimes you have to take a risk.

Sometimes you have to trust yourself.

And sometimes you just have to bet on yourself.

So, here we go.

To everyone who has been part of this chapter, thank you. Truly.

I hope our paths continue to cross because the network of people I’ve collected over the last 11 years is pretty damn incredible. And don’t worry, you’re not getting rid of me that easily.

Thank you for everything you’ve been a part of during this chapter. I hope you’ll stick around for the next one, too.

More on that very soon. ❤️ by @currentmile

Dallas, you were GOOD for the soul. ❤️

Two incredible days with the American Heart Association team and the other Woman of Impact National Winners, and I have a few thoughts…

First, I am now convinced that “professional hype person” is a required qualification to work at AHA. 😂

My gosh. I have never been built up, celebrated, cheered for, hugged, and hyped up more in a 48-hour period. These people LOVE their mission. They love their people. And they genuinely love the work they get to do. You can feel it.

Second, THE WOMEN. ❤️

What an absolute privilege to be in a room with this group. Every woman had a story. Every woman had a WHY. Every woman showed up ready to compete for something so much bigger than herself.

And while, yes, we are clearly a group of women who enjoy a little competition, the coolest part was watching everyone cheer just as hard for each other.

Because ultimately, we were all trying to win the same thing: better outcomes for women and cardiovascular disease.

I left Dallas with my cup FULL.

My cheeks hurt from laughing.
My heart is full from the conversations.
And somehow I came home with even more people I get to call friends. ❤️

AHA, thank you for taking one of the worst moments of my life and helping me turn it into something with purpose.

This campaign has given me a place to put my story, my competitive energy, and a whole lot of passion toward helping another woman recognize that heart disease can happen to her, too.

Pretty wild to think something that once made me ask “why me?” has turned into something that makes me think…

Maybe this is part of why. ❤️

Grateful. Proud. And apparently officially an AHA lifer now. by @currentmile

What would college freshman Caroline think of Caroline today?

A fellow Bowling Green grad asked me that question today, and honestly, it stopped me in my tracks.

My first answer was, “shocked.”

When I think back to freshman-year Caroline, I remember a timid, scared, homesick 18-year-old who cried through much of her first month away from home. I worried about fitting in. I questioned myself more than I trusted myself. I wasn’t particularly confident, and I definitely wasn’t the person who could walk into a room full of strangers and leave with new friends.

Fast forward a couple of decades, and the plot twist is strong.

My life isn’t what I imagined back then. It’s better.

I’ve built friendships that feel like family. I’ve learned to trust myself, speak up, stand behind my values, and know my worth. I’ve survived things that freshman Caroline never could have imagined, from losing my dad to a heart diagnosis, and more setbacks than I care to count.

And somewhere along the way, that scared freshman became a confident woman.

So after thinking about it for a minute, I realized freshman Caroline wouldn’t just be shocked.

She’d be proud.

Proud that the girl who cried in her dorm room learned how to take up space. Proud that she stopped worrying about whether she belonged and realized she had every right to be at the table. Proud that she learned confidence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s something you build.

And she’d probably be amazed that the homesick kid from this photo now runs marathons, serves on boards, speaks in front of crowds, publishes a newsletter every week, and keeps finding new mountains to climb.

Not bad, kid. Not bad at all.

Sometimes we’re so focused on the next goal, promotion, race, or challenge that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve come.

So now I’m curious:

What would your college freshman self think of you today?

Marathon #1 next to my dad. Marathon #25 next to my sister. Marathons are a journey. They test your mindset, confidence, and ability to keep moving forward when things get hard. But the best part has always been the people beside you along the way, the conversations, encouragement, and shared miles that make the experience unforgettable.

From marathon #1 with my dad to marathon #25 with my sister, I can’t wait to see which member of the Keating family becomes the next victim. My money is on a niece or nephew eventually getting talked into it. ♥️ by @currentmile
