A lot of big changes here @curtis.customs in the last month. Our @haas_automation mini mill is up and running and our new @siegmund.welding table is in and making money. Couldn’t be happier with these two new additions to my shop. A lot of meals are being eating at here to try and stay ahead but grateful for what I have and excited to see where we continue to grow! #welding #tigwelding #cncmachining #haasautomation #everlastwelders #fabrication by @curtis.customs

Big new moves here at @curtis.customs I done bought a CNC mill. Gonna be developing new products under the name @kensingtonpartsco and also taking work as a job shop. I’ve literally been dreaming of this day since I was 20 years old and got my first job in a machine shop. I’ve been building this business for 8 years on and off, but this is a huge moment for me. I’m in debt up to my eyeballs but I’m fuckin smitten. #cncmachining #machining #metalfab #haasautomation by @curtis.customs

Hey guess who’s actually posting something on my work account for once? This guy! Here’s a quick industrial job I did for my friends precision etching business. In order of pictures i plasma cut out some weight reliefs for the driving cog of their etching machine to save their backs taking the thing on and off. Then I’m blasting out some feet that I welded to the legs holding up an acid treating container and vat or acid. Last you can see the root pass and cap I did on the .25” wall angle legs that they needed me to extend. I also gusseted it. I should take more pictures I know. I’m good at making shit not that good at showing the shit I make. Little job site welding and installation in Northern Liberties. I’ll post more pictures when it’s actually done! Big thanks to @fletcherandcompany for use of his easier to move welder, @chappellecustomcraftedproducts for use of his generator when the power here didn’t work out, @tsailentknight for the in shop fabrication help, and @jmodus for helping do the install! by @curtis.customs

I took a break from using this account cause well frankly I took a break from my business. What can I say I had a shit year, I’m sure we all did. From here forward there should be a lot more coming from curtis customs! #cncmaching #machining #metalfab #machinist #haascnc #solidworks #allaboutthedumb by @curtis.customs

Repaired this springer front end this week. The crown and the bottom triple tree developed a ton a play. I turned down a sleeve to press onto the crown so I could re-machine the parts to have a .005” press fit. Get this guy back on the road. #springerfrontend #harley #chopper #machinist #manualmachining by @curtis.customs

My boss,”you got enough clamps on that?”
Me, “shut up and buy me more clamps.”

Big shout out to Brian @nokillcarshelter he’s literally move every piece of machinery into my shop that I have. Both #bridgeportmill , my #monarchlathe , my #cincinnati lathe, my kalamazoo horizontal bandsaw, my Rockwell vertical bandsaw, and my clausing variable speed drill press. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 8tons on machinery. Couldn’t have built this shop without the help! #manualmachinist #metalfab #manuallathe #imbrokenow by @curtis.customs

Here’s a quick frame repair I did over the weekend. I started by paying @getitintim to removed all the old rust and prep my surface, then I boxed in the damaged section with 3/16” plate. The old shock mount broke off (they seem to go on Tacoma’s) so you can see the new mount I machined and welded in.
