🙏 Honestly, it means so much to me to have my artistic photo, "Doom Scrolling" be selected to display at the @salmagundiclub for their Bold Strokes exhibition.

Since joining the military back in 2013 (and leaving in 2020), I abandoned the largest part of my identity and have only recently been rediscovering and redefining who I am.

Doom Scrolling is deeply personal to me, as it is a reflection on myself and society; not only our own struggle to define our usage of technology as entertainment or information, but as a tool for uncomfortable sedation and unprecedented interconnectedness.

Words will never convey my gratitude to you Gaby @gabyvivas31 for working with me, but also Ivy Huang @imur_gallery for selecting me among the many artists who submitted.

Congratulations to my fellow artists on display until June 5th!!!

Much love, and I can't wait to see where this journey leads me.
