Maybe that brief Southern Californian way of life, just got me thinking…

I left paradise in the south of Thailand, jumped on a flight, and rode a moped an hour into the mountains of Chiang Mai…
all for a bowl of Khao Soi that’s been on my hit list for years 🍜⚡

It started storming. Roads were empty. I got there just before closing, a tiny, family-run hut tucked in a sleepy village. No tourists, no signage… just thunder, noodles, and one woman stirring the same pot she probably has for 40 years.

Even my white vest loved it (spilled broth down the front) 😂
Would I do it again? 100%.

📍 Khao Soi Loong Surin (ข้าวซอยลุงสุรินทร์)

🎥: The first of my Thailand series content. Wanted to shoot something dramatic, atmospheric and moody, this is my favourite kind of storytelling.

〰️
What is Khao Soi?
A Northern Thai coconut curry noodle soup with Burmese roots, creamy, spicy, rich, usually topped with crispy noodles and served with pickled mustard greens and lime. Chiang Mai is the place to try it.

Big Little Girl” 🎀

I wrote this song about that quiet shift, when you’re no longer just a girl, but not quite grown… yet the world expects you to be. It’s about stepping into womanhood with all the fear, fight, and fire that comes with doing it on your own. 🔥

The video was filmed and produced by @curtisscott_ who wanted to showcase empowerment and femininity as that young woman, standing tall ready to take it on 🩷

Filmed at @6degreesstudiouk 🔥
