🍂 Honouring the season of letting go 🍂

I wanted to honour my beautiful soul sister @lisa.mclane and the exquisite seasonal sound bath and meditation she held for us as we begin our transition into autumn.

It was such a beautiful invitation to slow down, go inward and ask ourselves:

What am I ready to let go of?

Autumn reminds us so beautifully that letting go doesn’t have to mean losing our grounding.

A tree releases its leaves, but its roots remain. 🌳🍁

There was something so powerful about that reminder — that we can release what has completed its season while remaining rooted, grounded and connected to something bigger than ourselves.

Lisa created such a safe and beautiful space for women to come together with openness, vulnerability and courage. A space where we could gently meet the parts of ourselves we may normally hide, protect or avoid — without judgement.

For me personally, it was incredibly powerful. There was so much clarity.

Because when we feel truly safe and held, the noise can quieten. The armour can soften. And underneath it all, we can begin to hear what is actually real and true for us.

The sound, the stillness, the meditation, the connection between women — it was exquisite. ✨

And Lisa, you are glorious. 🤎

Thank you for the intention, love and care you bring to these spaces and for allowing women to arrive exactly as they are.

I left feeling clearer, lighter and deeply grateful.

Perhaps autumn isn’t only about what we’re losing. Perhaps it’s about trusting ourselves enough to release what we’re no longer meant to carry — knowing our roots remain. 🍂✨ by @curvemodelclare

#beautifulendings 💝
Creating beautiful endings is not about denying the sadness of goodbye.

It is about choosing, where we can, to meet an ending with dignity, respect and love—to honour what was, acknowledge what has been, and allow love to remain even when something has come to an end.

Whether that is the ending of a physical life, a relationship, a friendship, or simply a chapter of our lives.

Not every ending will be easy or even chosen by us. But perhaps, where possible, we can choose how we honour what was as we let it go.

My uncle’s funeral made me reflect deeply on this…

We spend so much of our lives marking beginnings—births, birthdays, weddings, new homes, new chapters.

But what about the ending of a life?

My uncle’s funeral was truly beautiful.

There was sadness and grief, but alongside it, so much love, thought and care. It felt like a genuine reflection of a life lived and a person loved.

It reminded me that a funeral doesn’t only have to be about loss.

It can be about honouring. Remembering. Storytelling. Gratitude. Connection.

It can hold tears and laughter in the same room.

There was something incredibly moving about the care and detail that went into creating his goodbye.

@bobbrad69 @georgiamaybradley — The Way We Were was so beautiful and poignant, Janie singing Amazing Grace a cappella was incredible, and both of your words were heartfelt and real. 💕

Thank you for honouring me by asking me to do a reading. It was a gift I will always hold dear in my heart. I love and honour you both. 🙏

Perhaps living consciously also means being willing to talk about death and ask:

How would I want my life to be remembered?
What would feel like me?
What would I want the people I love to know?

A topic I would love to explore more within The Honest Edit.

There is no perfect way to say goodbye. Grief is deeply personal.

But this experience reminded me that even within one of life’s hardest moments, there can still be beauty.

A beautiful ending doesn’t take away the sadness.
It simply honours the never-ending love. ❤️

✨ 100 years of Joan ✨

Today I had the privilege of celebrating a rather extraordinary woman.

Joan is 100.

A whole century of life, stories, friendships, laughter, love, loss, change… her home is immaculate everything has it place and so much tradition and decor from the 1970’s filled with so much history and trinkets, she still polishes her silver and still putting her rollers in every night. An absolute icon. 👑

I rather cheekily put her on the spot and asked what wisdom she would pass on after 100 years of living.

Understandably, she told me she couldn’t just think of something like that on the spot! 😆

But then came this…

“People having friends, I think.”

And somehow, looking around today, that felt like the perfect answer.

I was back amongst women from the community where I used to live — it was such a incredible chapter … we experienced Covid together, filled with different generations, nationalities, religions and walks of life — and sitting together with some of them today, sharing tea and cake, laughing, remembering and telling stories.

People having friends.

Maybe there is more wisdom in those few simple words than we realise.

And then, of course, Joan casually informed us that one of her achievements had been climbing Everest…

…before remembering shortly afterwards that actually it was Snowdon. 😂

At 100, I think she’s entitled to upgrade the mountain.

There was something so humbling about today. In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, we were doing something humans have done forever:

gathering together, sharing stories and honouring one of our elders.

100 years of Joan.
100 years of stories.

And perhaps one very simple reminder for the rest of us:

Keep connecting in with others
And don’t forget your rollers. ❤️ To return to slowness, care, nature, deep presence, connection & laughter 💝

Happy 100th, Joan.

#kombuchajourney ❤️

Sometimes you go away and bring home far more than you expected… 🌿✨

My little kombucha journey began in Gozo, where I was staying with my beautiful friends Alenka and David @the_energy_doctors

It was there Alenka gently and patiently guided and taught me the ritual of nurturing a living culture, brewing, harvesting and beginning again. And yes… I became slightly obsessed with the look of outer worldly pellicle and the word scoby and decided to document the process hence the video 🥰

So a little 100ml starter culture travelled home with me 🇲🇹✈️🇬🇧

That little 100ml became my first batch… and now I have 6 litres quietly fermenting away. 🫧

And something else seems to be brewing too…

People have been asking to taste it, learn how to make it and even have their own starter culture.

So, as I type this, a little idea is being born. 🌱

I don’t quite know what it’s called yet or exactly where it will go — and I actually love that.

In around 14 days, Alenka and I are hoping to go LIVE together — her in Gozo and me in the UK — harvesting our kombucha and showing you how to begin your own.

I’m also creating a small number of beautiful starter kits so I can pass this living culture on. And I’d love 10% from every kit to support a charity close to my heart. 🤍

Something was shared with me in Gozo.

I brought it home.
I nurtured it.
It grew.
And now I get to pass it on.

Something is birthing… 🤍

For years, I’ve explored the outer world — beauty, skincare, fashion and the things that help us look and feel good.

But life has also taken me deeply into the inner world — self-development, healing, spirituality, motherhood, relationships, trauma, reinvention and what it means to be human.

And I’ve realised… I don’t want to separate the two anymore.

I’m naturally curious. I love trying new things and meeting people — whether it’s a skincare device, supplement or product, or a new treatment, healing modality, practice or experience.

I’ve tried things.
I’ve lived things.
I’ve learned things.
And increasingly, I’ve created things because of them.

So I’m bringing it all together:

The beautiful, difficult and transformative — including the things we’re often too afraid, ashamed or uncomfortable to talk about.

✨ Two weeks in Gozo with @the_energy_doctors …. The honest edit by Clare ✨

This was so much more than a retreat for me. It was a deeply personal, immersive experience — time to slow down, reconnect, go deeper and experience a different rhythm of living. It was my daughters choice to visit Gozo and after a challenging 10 years the perfect place for her to take rest, unwind and decompress 💝

What I loved most was that the experience was personalised to where I was and what I needed at that particular moment in my life.

I came home feeling incredible — clearer, nourished and reconnected to myself — and, most importantly, with things I could actually integrate into my everyday life. 🌿

If you’re feeling called to step away from the noise for a while and experience something deeply personal, in the beautiful surroundings of Gozo, I would absolutely recommend exploring a stay with The Energy Doctors.

Hair really is an art ✨

It had been such a long time since I’d properly had my hair done. For years, so much of my energy has gone into being a mum, navigating life, and simply prioritising what needed me most.

And now, as my daughter gets older, I’m finding a little more space to come back to me. 🤍

My mum had super-fine hair, and I’ve definitely inherited those genes. Add hormones, stress and life into the mix, and our hair can change so much over the years.

But I think there’s something really beautiful about learning to embrace what we have rather than constantly fighting against it.

Fine hair, thick hair, wrinkles, curves, changing bodies… none of it defines who we are.

We are so much bigger than all of it.

And when we remember that, perhaps we can dance a little more lightly with the outside stuff — enjoy it, play with it, enhance it, express ourselves through it — without believing that our worth depends upon it. ✨

And this is also a huge appreciation post for @mvc_joel and @mvc_sissi . Watching people who have truly mastered their craft is incredible. What they do isn’t just hair — it’s artistry. The knowledge, the eye, the hands, the creativity… absolute masters. 🎨💇‍♀️ I love looking back through the moments I captured and the chats and laughter human connection is so wonderful ✨

Thank you for making me feel so beautiful and for reminding me how lovely it is to take a little time for myself again.

Here’s to embracing what we have, honouring the season we’re in, and remembering that self-care doesn’t have to mean changing who we are.

Sometimes it’s simply about celebrating her. 🤍✨
