Yes, I’ve been battling depression and taking medication to help regulate my brain chemistry. While it’s been helping my mental health, one of the side effects was an increased appetite. There was a time when I was fighting a battle that nobody could really see.

Depression changed many things about me—including my relationship with food and my body.

After starting my treatment, my appetite increased significantly due to meds, and I gained around 15kg in just a few months.

I knew taking care of my mental health had to come first, but watching my body change so quickly was honestly difficult.

As an actress and content creator, I’m constantly surrounded by cameras, photos and mirrors. There were moments when I didn’t feel like myself anymore.

My confidence dropped, and I started becoming overly conscious about my appearance.

But this journey taught me something important:

Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying life.

I still eat my favourite foods. 🍜🍰🍣
I still enjoy going out with my friends.
I still enjoy the food that makes me happy.

I just learned to find a better balance.

Instead of extreme dieting or completely restricting myself, I started being more mindful about my portions and choices, staying active, and being more consistent with my lifestyle.

And along the way, @curvena.official fully supports my weight-management journey.

It wasn’t an overnight transformation.

There were good days, bad days, and days when the scale didn’t move the way I wanted.

But I kept going.

Because I realised that a healthy journey shouldn’t make you miserable.

I don’t want a life where I can’t eat the food I love.

I want to be able to enjoy my favourite food and take care of my body at the same time. ❤️

Today, I’m still on my journey—not chasing perfection, but learning how to create a lifestyle that I can actually maintain.

And maybe that’s what real progress looks like:

Not giving up the things you love, but learning how to enjoy them in balance.

From struggling with my body during one of the darkest chapters of my life, to slowly finding my confidence again—this is my journey.

And I’m still going. 🤍
