Style is self respect you can see. This is the full look and the new piece pulled the whole thing together exactly how I imagined. Confidence is not loud. It just shows up put together and lets the room adjust. Remember the unboxing? Here is what it became.

Houston, you showed UP. 🤍

I came for a quick trip and left feeling like I’d lived a whole season. My room at @cbaldwinhotel had me at the hallway lighting (yes, I filmed the hallway, don’t judge me). Then I walked past a wall that said “Well behaved women seldom make history” and a mural that said “Got dreams bigger than Texas,” and honestly, the hotel was talking to me. 😌

Dinner one was @mastrosofficial where the seafood tower arrived smoking like it had a personal entrance. The martini pour was a whole moment too. ✨

Dinner two was @cocodyrestaurant with a tour of their state-of-the-art kitchen led by Chef Lionel Debon, a Michelin star experienced chef. 👩🏾‍🍳 I got to see how the magic happens, and that fish with the lace crisp on top? Chef’s kiss, and I’m not even being dramatic. ✨ @cheflioneldebon

Here’s what I’m learning: a quick trip doesn’t have to be a small trip. When you plan it with intention (a hotel with a point of view, one splurge dinner, one experience you can’t Google), 48 hours can feel like a reset. 🧳

Plot twist: I’m dating again.

Days back in it and a guy I matched with online already asked me to come over to his house. We have never met in person. Not even coffee first.
