What if Arc'teryx made a paperclip?
This was a creative exercise in branding and design. I wanted to take one of the most mundane objects *a paperclip* and explore how it could be transformed through the lens of Arc'teryx’s identity. From the shape inspired by their iconic Archaeopteryx fossil to the premium feel, the goal was to capture how great branding can elevate even the simplest product into something desirable.

For me, projects like this are a way to sharpen my eye for storytelling in design and push how far visual marketing can go when it’s rooted in identity and intention.

I was brought on by @caserne to create a showcase animation for a bookmark they designed to celebrate @mbamtl 's 65th bal anniversary.

This project was a fun challenge because there were so many possible ways of creation. I went back and forth between building it entirely in 3D or approaching it through a more composited 2D workflow.
In the end, I leaned into my @photoshop roots to craft the core asset, combined that with my experience in 3D lighting and texturing, and brought everything to life in @adobe #AfterEffects.

Had a lot of fun creating animations for the new @boltswagen video "Yapping" which just got its much-deserved feature on @thrashermag Go check it out!

Always a pleasure working with @rob_aghpx170_p2hd_720p and contributing to the Montreal skate community.

Heres the breakdown for my latest project!

From early concept sketches to AI-assisted environments, 3D product modeling, and final compositing, all tied together with AI-guided video animation.

This workflow blends AI speed with 3D precision.

Got the chance to experiment with a new workflow mixing AI, 3D, and 2D compositing for a commercial project. I worked with @sidefxhoudini , @maxonredshift , @photoshop , @adobe After Effects, and over 10 different AI tools. For the sound design, I had a lot of fun using @artlist.io

I’ll be posting a full breakdown of the process in the next few days.

The @aimeleondore x @newbalance 550, designed by @teddysantis — brought to life in 3D with @sidefxhoudini and @maxonredshift
Each frame was printed using only the cyan, magenta, and black passes, then scanned back into motion to create this tangible, organic loop. Made with my @canoncanada

After years of creating visuals, it's nice to look back and see a visual language start to form and evolve.
