🐾 Quick guide: three simple tips for choosing the right automatic feeder capacity and schedule so your pet eats on time whether you’re home or away.

Try these easy checks before you pick a capacity or set a schedule, small tests now save big stress later.

1. Match capacity to daily portions, add up your pet’s usual daily food and choose a feeder that holds at least that amount for the length of your planned absence.

2. Pick a schedule that fits your pet’s eating style, multiple small portions for grazers, fewer set meals for pets that gulp; favor feeders with portion controls to help prevent overfeeding.

3. Run a full dry run at home, load the feeder, schedule meals, and watch one day to confirm portions, timing, and that your pet can access the food easily.
