Just over a year in the making and our basement Den is complete. This space has become our refuge. Unique and calming pieces radiate their energy transporting all who enter to a simpler time. One filled with conversation and completely devoid of screens.

Let’s travel back in time.
The Starlight Motor Lodge is a star in its own right. This has been one of my favorite places to stay!

The owners have done a magnificent job restoring this charming property. From the warm wood tones to the sprawling breeze blocks, this place makes you feel like a star.

I feel like I’ve entered the 1960’s and stepped into a different life; I never want to leave. If you’re into the mid-century vibes, I highly recommend staying here. Leave the modern world behind and enter into an inviting bygone era.

Thank you @starlightchs for giving a place to stay that feels like home!

Here’s to lucky 13! I’m overwhelmed by the amount of love and disgust I received the other night. I am forever grateful for the people in my life who make the everyday ordinary into something truly special.

I felt jaded as I reflected over the past year. Looking back, it seems as if I didn’t do much with my life, not creating an impact in any particular direction. But that turned out not to be the case; I wanted to cry hearing how I made a difference in other people’s lives, even in the smallest way. Perception really is everything.

Thank you to everyone who continues to be in my life and pushes me forward. I’ve never received so many hot dog gifts in one night. Y’all know me so well. Thank you for making my life what it is; I’m not sure where I’d be without you guys. Here’s to another year. 🌭 by @cute.withouthe

Oh my sweet Mr. Simba, I never thought this day would come. You were always so strong, and seemed to be invincible; nothing slowed you down. It’s so damn unfair! I’m forever grateful for the time I got to spend with you although it doesn’t feel like enough. At least I got to be with you during your final moments and got the chance to say farewell, but my heart is just fucking broken baby boy. I can’t fathom living in this world without you in it.

i’m sure you found a Lulu by now and I hope you both are running through endless woods and fields. May you have the best kitty adventures in the next life! Run, wild and free, my sweet boy. I can’t wait until we meet again. I love you forever, Simba 🖤 by @cute.withouthe

Yesterday Frank turned 12, and I just can’t believe it! It seems like yesterday we brought you home. Happy birthday to you my sweet bummy boy! I hope you have the best day going on top secret kitty adventures by @cute.withouthe
