Hii 👋🏼 My name is Kenna, and I’m the proud Owner of The Elevation Exchange! Let me share a little about how this project came to life…

As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve faced the challenge of finding like-minded individuals in the Finger Lakes region —people who share that hunger for growth in both business and life. I found myself constantly searching for those connections, craving to give and gain light from others on the same journey.

Then it hit me: instead of searching for that community, why not create the environment that attracts them? 💡 That’s how The Elevation Exchange was born. For nearly a year, I’ve been pouring my heart into building this, and I’m so excited to finally share it with all of you.

Week 2 in Texas - Settling in slowly, but surely 🫶🏼

It’s been a much slower pace than I’m used to & with Mo being away in San Diego for work I haven’t done much exploring. Sitting in the stillness and relearning to appreciate the small things that had gotten away from me this last decade in the hustle and bustle of the grind.

I’m ready to find something to do. I’m ready to be part of something here in Texas. This next chapter of life requires me to put God, myself, and my family first over work - I look forward to that change. I don’t want to be THE go-to person here, but maybe the 2nd or 3rd would be nice.. Just trying to decide WHAT. Something fun, active and creative is the goal.. Feel free to shoot some ideas my way 👇🏼 I’m currently debating a Bakery, Real-Estate, Bartending.. I’m not sure..

But, I truly love it here. This weather (85 sunny with a breeze) is also hard to beat especially when back home, Upstate NY, is already getting snow. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @cutsbykenna_

Week ONE recap ❤️‍🔥
.
One of the best weeks, ever. Moving out of my small Finger Lakes, NY town to big ol’ Texas was definitely not something that I thought would be on my bingo card for my life - but damn, am I glad it is. Some of my favorite things I’ll list here below so far: 👇🏼
.
•Quality time spent with my hunny & enjoying this new chapter of ours.
• transitioning from the major hustle/serial entrepreneur life to slowing down, making our home, enjoying the quiet, prioritizing self-care & moving forward with passion.
• Everyone is SO friendly, for no reason. Conversations are sparked no matter what you’re doing. I’ve learned just how much us New-Yorkers are used to just putting our head down and getting the ‘thing’ done. It may seem small, but the conversation matters. Checking in on people matters. This is the heart of Community right here.
•THE SUNSETS 🌅
•This weather 😍 perfectly warm (for now), sun beams, perfect breeze & a little cooler at night to open windows and get fresh air into the house.
•Cost of living.. most of my grocery store trips are $40 & under.. need I say more..
•OPTIONS. Where we live it’s definitely a ‘small town’ around here. We have the perfect mix of country/development! But because we have the development, there a lot more options for shopping/food/businesses/etc. Living on this lake town reminds me a lot of back home… it truly feels like what ‘could-have-been’ in Geneva.

Before moving from Upstate, NY to Fort Worth, TX we booked a photography session with the absolute best - @behindthesocial.sn 🤍 These photos mean so much to us and capture the authentic emotion and love shared between us. After 30 years of calling Upstate New York home, it’s time for a new chapter 🥹

Mo and I are officially moving to Dallas, Texas! Our focus is on what’s best for our little family & new opportunities. This move holds so many emotions — gratitude for family, the roots I’ve built, love for the people and community who’ve helped shaped me, and peace knowing that God’s timing is always perfect. 🙏🏼♥️

To my incredible clients and team — Symmetry Barbershop isn’t slowing down one bit.
