We love our friends at Rotie. They came up with the perfect solution for both boating and land parties here. Rose without glass that is worth drinking!

And our flight this week has something for everyone...a white blend from Oregon produced by your new favorite, a French Vin de Pays that is wonderful chilled, and a revolving bold red to round out the lineup.

Friday and we are in Walla Walla for Blood of Gods! Wine, Metal, and Good Times!

It's not ALL fun and games. First we do some business at a panel to talk about the current state of wine in the US.

Some experts in the field: Tyler Balliet (author of the Rebel School of Wine and hostess for amazing wine events); Tegan Passalaqua (winemaker at Turley and Sandlands); Andre Hueston Mack (Winemaker, Somm, more). Our moderator was Brooke Delmas Robinson (Delmas, SJR Vineyards).

Tyler was awesome!

After the talking was done we got to try amazing hand-picked wines from over 50 producers, check out fascinating artwork, and talk to all of the creators! You could even get a personalized poem. So cool.

Look for some new PNW wines that we discovered here!

No pics from the concert, but we did stop at Red Mountain on the way back home. Hedges is an organic and certified Demeter Biodynamic winery that makes some very tasty bottles. We got some of the last of their Viognier for the year.

Also stopped at Cooper. They are almost exclusively available to their club members so when we saw they were open for tastings, we jumped. So friendly and great wines. They produce 25% of the Carmenere in WA! by @cuveegigharbor
