So crazy grateful that I had the opportunity to teach this lil presentation I made on eco-futurism to these bright young students this week! 👨🏼‍🏫📝❤️‍🔥

These kids give me hope man… not only were they completely keeping up with new topics that adults regularly struggle to grasp, they wouldn’t stop asking challenging questions and contributing to the conversation. It was seriously badass and inspirational.

That disgustingly twisted future that you see in every dumb dystopian whatever movie and show that has come out in the last 30-40 years is just not it. The youth are coming in HOT 🔥

They’ve got solutions, good jokes, and killer attitudes. Get the hell out of the way boomers!!! 😈💚 taken in Traverse City, Michigan by @cuyopilli

Okk so yesterday was a movie… ‼️🍿

Attended a special SXSW event at the @longcenter with my stunning wife @zinzigagaa and adorable parents where our company @icon3dtech unveiled:

• Phoenix, our latest model multi-story printer which looks so badass omg 🔥🔥 (first test print also unveiled called the House of Phoenix, a 27 ft. tall work of art)
• CarbonX, our new base material for Lavacrete™️ - labeled by @mit as essentially the MOST SUSTAINABLE BUILDING MATERIAL ON EARTH 🤯
• Vitruvius, our own architecture AI with the ability to take basic prompts and turn them into plans for your dream home in the mountains of the Caribbean
• CODEX, our own digital home design catalog

It’s been really fun helping shape the future lol! I’m objectively very grateful for the opportunities I continue to receive virtually on a daily basis. Wondering what other wonders are manifestable in this life? taken in Long Center by @cuyopilli

It’s that timeee ⏰🔥❤️‍🔥⏰🔥❤️‍🔥 (Please read in full!)

Got some sets this next week that are sure to light that fire inside 😈🪩❤️‍🔥🔥

3/8 (tomorrow!) - Bounce @neon.grotto -> set time: midnight
3/15 - Bounce/Quench/AG Showcase -> b2b all night long

If you reallyyy love me, you’ll come shake that ass w me and my friends AND donate to the fundraiser posted as a bday gift to yours truly 😘

Disclaimer: Given all the recent developments with @sxsw pathetic selling out to the @usdoduus and hoe ass @rtxcorporation, I was very close to canceling all my shows this week.. but given that they aren’t sponsored by the festival monetarily and only associated by name, coupled with the hard work that my friends have put into creating these events, I decided I would use my platform to bring a Free Palestine/anti-war message to the table among other things, and hopefully be a voice for the ongoing genocide and occupation of Palestinian land and all colonized peoples from within the confines of the festival itself.

To be clear, SXSW only shamelessly released the news that the @usarmy was sponsoring the festival a few days ago, well after most artists have already spent money and hard labor organizing events in and around the yearly event. For years and years it has been a space for artists all around the world and country to come together and celebrate life and art in a profound and impactful way to the advancement of many careers including my own. It is both enraging and heartbreaking that the organizers have chosen this route and decided to conflate the development of the military industrial complex with art and music (*the DoD is also sponsoring hyper cringe events during the music portion and not just tech). My heart goes out to all the official artists taking a stand against the machine and rescinding their participation in SXSW in protest of their flagrant actions, and I hope this serves as a lesson to the investors of the festival that war and art do not f*cking mix. KEEP YOUR WEAPONS AND DIRTY MONEY OUT OF OUR SPACE YOU MF GOONS OF WAR AND DESTRUCTION. MAY YOU ACTUALLY ROT IN HELL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Gratitude has been the most powerful grounding rod for me. During life’s heaviest moments, taking the time for myself to count my blessings has been one of the best weapons in handling anxiety, despair, and other thought spirals that do not serve me or my better nature.

Lately my very first instinct every morning is to just say thank you - for my beautiful life, body, wife, family, friends, dogs, experiences, opportunities. There is always so much there. I take that time when my mind is most fragile to simply appreciate. Gonna keep exercising these muscles in 2024 so I can be a better servant of liberation & love.

2023 blessed me with these moments that made me feel most connected with my true self and sense of purpose.

A) Austin, TX - Working in the garden
B) Toniná, Chiapas - Waking up New Years Day to an ancient Mayan pyramid
C) Crescent Lake, Washington - Hiking w/ my beloved
D) Hoh Rain Forest, Washington - Sound bathing in moss
E) Austin, TX - Chile surviving being poisoned like the soldier he is
F) Craftsbury, VT - My baby sister’s incredible wedding
G) State Capitol, TX - Epically inspiring #freepalestine protest
H + I)The Long Center, TX - Appreciating my role in the World’s 1st 3D-printed amphitheater w/ my loved ones
J) Cascada Arcoíris, Chiapas - Soul bathing in the turquoise waters of El Chiflón by @cuyopilli

With all the insanity in the world, I wanted to share this with you in the hopes that you’ll be inspired today.. to AIM FOR THE MOOON
✨🤠👽♥️🌝💘🌠
This morning we announced our collaboration with @nasa today to 3D-print Earth’s 1st off-world structures for human habitation on the dang moon y’all! I believe this will undoubtedly create better solutions for our current living situation on Earth, not an escape from it.
🌕 “We are going back to the moon to stay in peace and hope for all humankind.” - @jasondballard
🌖
Over the last decade, I’ve realized our civilization is quickly coming up on a new level of manifestation where we are more able than ever to materialize our dreams - individually and collectively; for better and for worse. Our imagination and physics are the limit switches. This new power comes with a gigantic responsibility to promote global unity, solidarity, and stewardship, and I’m all the way here for it. Solarpunk til I die.

Zinzi,
I’ve loved you since the 1st time we met, and our connection continues to feel unlimited its scope. As I fall more in love with you with every passing moment, I’m blown away by the strength of your character and will. You inspire me when I wake up, and help me calm to rest every night. Whether we’re building multiple homes during a pandemic or snuggled up reading to newborn kittens or camping at a beachside fantasy watching the sunlight fade, your presence feels like a gift from beyond to me in this life, and I promise to loyally be by your side for the rest of my days.
•
Te amo con todo la fuerza de mi alma y mi vida. Para siempre.
