Spotlight:
⭐Justin Huish⭐
Not only was Justin one of the youngest archers to set records at the Olympics, but he has also set a new high score at a recent championship.

Having only been 21 years old, Justin Huish set a record of being the first male archer to win gold for the USA Men’s archery team in both the individual event and team event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA.

Almost exactly 30 years later, he is continuing to fuel his legacy. At the recent 2026 California State Outdoor Championship, Justin set a new record in the Recurve 50+ double 72-arrow 60-metre event. The previous world’s best score being 1324, Justin persevered and shot a score of 1354 on our very own Justin Huish Tournament Field.

Conejo Valley Archers is incredibly proud of Justin’s accomplishment and excited for records to continue to be broken!

Reminiscing about the Primitive Arts Festival where our community got a chance to try out different parts of history. Hoping to come back bigger and stronger next year! 💫
