I remember feeling like I was probably getting ripped off because anything more than $5 for a used record was steep. taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @cvcfbds

You know me: KJV or GTFO.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. taken in Read Your Bible by @cvcfbds

The Cy Twombly Lexington trifecta: childhood home, adult home, studio. Nowadays the studio is a storefront, and closed last Sunday when I went to visit. The doorway and big front windows haven’t changed, and anyone can daydream look from the other side time travel, out instead of in. Sally Mann makes that easy with her atmospheric photos of Cy’s studio, published in 2016 as “Remembered Light: Cy Twombly in Lexington.” taken in Downtown Lexington, VA by @cvcfbds
