💿🎹🎸Our song “Digital Sands” is available NOW on all the usual streaming platforms, to give you a tiny taste of the probably-poisoned interplanetary cocktail 🪐🍸 that is CV - see our bio for links‼️ Recorded at @_3_d_light_ Studios in Arcata, California, mixed by @saucer_eyes_ and mastered by @micahdanderson - this song features Tavan Anderson on vocals and bass, Robert Tripp on synths, Sam Stehr on guitar, and Vibra Steel aka Aimée Hennessy on backup vocals and synth.

(*We wrote and recorded this song before all the Covid chaos - bad timing - and played it live a couple times, but we haven’t released that album - yet?)

👋🎹👽 It’s true. We’re BACK after a 2-year hiatus, we’ve added two more members to our lineup including live drums, lap steel guitar, and some no-wave inspired sax, and we’re excited to be opening for Philadelphia punk / no wave band ERASER on Saturday, 9/26 - you can check them out at @wereeraser ‼️

They recently contributed a single on the comp No Occupation and released their debut EP Hideout with art rock stalwarts 💿 Siltbreeze Records.

And of course, we (CV) play dystopian post-punk to make you feel UNSETTLED. We’ll have some NEW original songs, maybe a cover, plus an old favorite or two.👀

👋🎹👽 Hey everybody, we’re BACK, we’ve added two more members to our lineup including live drums and lap steel guitar, and we’re excited to be opening for Philadelphia no wave band 💥ERASER💥 who you can check out at @wereeraser or turn up the sound on this post for a sneak peek! 🔊🎚️

🥁🎸Philadelphia’s No-Wavers ERASER erupted onto the East Coast punk scene with a unique sound informed by legendary bands like 💥The Slits, 💥Malaria, and 💥Liquid Liquid- as well as by their palpable sense of humor and their raw, experimentally elastic approach to songwriting. The group’s members Sonam, Kat, Juliette and Pier united in 2023 through their love of DIY music and their overlapping experiences playing in bands 💥Drill, 💥Amanda X, 💥Corey Flood, and 💥Privacy Issues. They recently contributed a single on the comp No Occupation and released their debut EP Hideout with art rock stalwarts 💿Siltbreeze Records.

And of course, we (CV) play dystopian post-punk to make you feel UNSETTLED😨 but also it’s kinda fun to dance to. MAYBE we’ll do a Siouxsie cover, maybe we’ll do an Iggy Pop cover, but we’ll definitely have some NEW original songs plus an old favorite or two.👀
