A journey I’d give anything to live again.
This game has given me things nothing else ever could. Since the day I could remember I’ve given all I had in me to live out this dream and I got rewarded with some of the best people, memories, and moments of my life. The blood, sweat, and tears that came with it made every moment that much sweeter.
To all my teammates thank you for letting me apart of the ride and being right by my side pushing me through some of the scariest most unknown parts of my life. Without yall this journey wouldn’t be what it was. From being told I’ll never have the ability to play again and proving doctors and everyone else wrong, to finding a way back on the field for 3 more years would’ve been impossible without yall. This journey was long it was hard and said to be impossible but I’m so blessed it went the way it did. Put aside the countless wins and many championships and it was all still so worth it!
To mom and dad thank you for putting a ball in my hands the day my feet touched the ground yall made every last second of this dream possible and never missed anything no matter when no matter where. I hope I gave you the something good to watch and I hope I made yall proud!
A long journey, tons of wins, few losses, tons of paths crossed, plenty of injuries, countless life long relationships, and an unreal amount of memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life🫶🏼
To all I’ve ever known, thank you for allowing me to be apart of the 2 greatest sports on earth I’ll forever be in debt to this game❣️
All love, Wes by @cwes2
