Grandma: Hey ol man what are you doing?

Me: Hey ol lady. I'm on my way home from work about to pick up some dinner for tonight. What are you up to & how are you doing?

Grandma: I'm doing good, I just ate my dinner and, I'm about to watch a movie. How's my Melanie? And what are y'all eating tonight?

Me: We're just getting some chicken, potatoes and red beans and rice from Popeyes tonight.

Grandma: Y'all always eating or cooking chicken. One day y'all gone finish eating and start flying around.

Me: .... 🤣 So... What did you just finish eating?

Grandma: Umm... So what y'all doing this weekend?

Mary Willaby.... You just don't know how much I miss you. I miss our talks over the phone and in person so much!!! It's almost been a year since you made your transition, but just know we'll always love you ❤️. January 13th, we celebrated 10 years of being together, and today, October 6th, we celebrate 8 years of marriage. I can honestly say I thank God every day for sending me my Angel. I love you, and I can't wait to see what our next chapters in life hold.

To know you was to love you... You taught me how to cook, drive, work hard to reach my goals, and most importantly, you encouraged me to become the best Musician I could be. We all wish we had more time with you, but God needed you more.

I am gonna miss you Mary Willaby, you were faithful to the end. Now take your hard earned rest. You are the best Grandmother ever!!! Please keep our Family in your prayers.

#Chapter34Begins I've endured alot this past year, and almost gave up at times, but something just kept telling me Corey keep pushing, keep getting up, the race isn't given to the swift but to the slow and steady. I can't count how many times I was in and out of the ER and had even had to stay overnight at times IYKYK. Remaining humble in spite of has really shown me how to accept and love myself all over again but in a much better way. I'm not where I wanna be, but I thank God I'm not where I used to be. God, my prayer is that Chapter 34 will be good to ya boy, so that I can continue to worship, help others and be the best ME that I can be. Thank you for the good days and bad days because I would not be who I am today.
